OK Elliot, who cares what you paid for it, she is a beauty, it’s got a cab, it’s got a thumb, it’s a zero swing, it’s got a quick disconnect and three buckets. A blade for grading, a boom cylinder guard, and believe me they are very good to have. I’ve been down that road. No more cutting logs on the ground put them in the thumb, and the way you go.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

You got a good deal on it. I have the same exact machine. Mine is a 2001. I paid $17500 no A/C just heat. I've replaced the tracks when I got it still need to replace the idlers mine squeaks loud also. John Deere is expensive on parts especially Hydraulic fluid. You have to use the correct Hydraulic fluid. You'll replace some hoses, and they are hard to get to. Just built a log splitter for it and it works great. The thing is a beast and the best investment I have ever made for the farm. I like it way better than any skid steer and I have a cat so yeah, it's that good. I'll subscribe to see what all you end up doing to it. Nice buy you will not be disappointed.

I'm not sure what you're doing spraying H20 INSIDE the cab... you know there are relays in there that control various servos?? Hot Water in General is a bad idea imo, but i think you need to put your enthusiasm into getting new bucket teeth and reading the manual. The noise i heard when you first offloaded the buckets makes me think you may have a pump issue on the way. Be a good idea to find out when the hydro fluid was changed last and start thinking about that. You landed a great machine, as proven by it still working fine while all the competitors have long since gone to the scrap yard. Unfortunately you don't seem to know what you have and are destroying it with ocd. Keep it clean, dry and out of the sun and at least you won't pass gremlins along to the next guy 👍 But just to reiterate, what i just saw was basically the Most Absusive thing you could have done to that incredible machine. Holy lord. Have you heard of actually using your Arms to to wipe grease off with a rag? Good God 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
@EverythingElliott2 ай бұрын
I appreciate the comment about the hydros, I heard that too, and fluids will be addressed during the full service of the machine, once I get everything in. Now onto the other 3/4 of your comment. In my short time on KZbin, I know that no matter what I do, or how I do it, someone will have an issue with it. I’m ok with that, this is how I clean my machines, and since I live in the best country on earth, I’m free to do so, and you’re free to clean your machines how ever you please. The cab was beyond using a little “elbow grease” it needed that. Trust me. Anyhow, thanks for watching, and I hope you take the time to check out some of my other videos!
