Thanks for letting me take that ole girl for a test ride!

Good idea for what you could do with the mulcher attachment 👍 Small scale cleanup services are definitely needed. Great to see you and Adam collaborate 😊

And this would be perfect for it. Not necessarily planning on taking down mighty oaks, but some over grown willows and such.
@lyleharkness-rv5vf2 ай бұрын
Bigger stuff is what arborists and tree services are for. You'd be a perfect fit for real estate improvements, subcontractor to township or park department maintenance, or farm hedgerow control like Adam mentioned.

Discovered your channel after doing an appliance service at your house. Surprised I haven't come across it sooner seeing as We're practically neighbors! I live only a mile or two up the road! This kinda stuff is up my alley too, so I'm definitely going to be tuning in. Best of luck to you, your family, and your channel!

This was painful. The tree even felt bad and just fell to the ground 🤣
@EverythingElliott2 ай бұрын
I believe it’s a combination of my first time using something like that, the machine being a low flow unit, and the mulcher being homeowner grade…

@@EverythingElliott haha this probably be me next week. I have a unit coming for my machine. Just messing with ya 😜.

Looks like it has flail blades not fixed teeth like a forestry mulcher. thats more for small brush/weeds type of stuff
@EverythingElliott2 ай бұрын
It’s got stump grinder teeth on it, I believe they are called green teeth? They aren’t carbide teeth like in big forestry heads
@JohnWinsemius2 ай бұрын
what model is that mulcher 230 or 330@@EverythingElliott
@bert26a2 ай бұрын
@@EverythingElliott They are carbide teeth actually but it uses a gear type hydraulic motor rather than a piston style hydrostatic motor. They make a lousy mulcher they had nothing in their manual about servicing the bearings and the teeth are just too small. Putting a case drain on a machine isn't a big deal and allows for a higher quality mulcher.

That's not a Forestry Mulcher... Clickbait much?

online-order.baumalight.com/product/brush-mulchers/mx330 Forestry mulcher is a more universally understood term than “fixed tooth mulcher for Mini Excavator”
@georgehofgren61232 ай бұрын
@EverythingElliott Do you derive all of your nomenclature from Marketing?? They're trying to sell something so they give it a powerful NAME. We call things that grind down wood Mulchers and things that grind up brush Mowers. That's a mower. Sorry, learn the terms ~
@bert26a2 ай бұрын
Those Baumalight mulches are not very good. I had one for my Sany SY50U. Promac makes a much much better mulcher with better teeth and serviceability.
@EverythingElliott2 ай бұрын
I would put them in the classification of a “homeowner” unit. They don’t come with the $50,000 price tag, but they also don’t work as well as a $50,000 attachment
@bert26a2 ай бұрын
@@EverythingElliott Most mini-excavator mulchers aren't that much thats mostly when you get in to the bigger machines I've been running them for over 10 years now.
@EverythingElliott2 ай бұрын
@@bert26a I just kinda used that number as a generality...but I picked that number because I've priced them out for track loaders
@bert26a2 ай бұрын
@@EverythingElliott ok yeah those are pricey my boss and I have looked at them but he's got a low flow skid-steer so we might just go with a brush hog style mower for the interim. At oeast if the economy ever picks up here in Canada again.
@EverythingElliott2 ай бұрын
@@bert26a I've used a brush hog on a low flow machine, they are pretty productive, they are just bulky to fish through the woods
