I originally owned a 2009 335d before I bought my e92 335i. The 335d almost made me give up on bmw's. The car is so finnicky with emissions it was throwing a new code every 5-10k miles. Deleting is basically the only option for these cars. Best of luck on the build and excited to see this series!

Bimmer code with BT adapter is another way to remove the annoying chime. You can also code a few other things.

Volume setting for the chime is in the BC setting in the dash usually.

whatever you do don’t go thru malone tuning i have had 2 of these car and the malone car was very bad my second one was jr tuned and had 0 issues with the car. also BRR is fairly new and my friends car is tuned with brr and i loved it
