Good decision. The switch 2 is going to be lcd, and the oled model is probably gonna come later. You don’t need the newest and the oled model is amazing :)

To be fair this wasn’t really that “huge great deal”. Like you did pay full price, you could have used those target cards for other purchases and that negative credit balance for something else as well You still paid full price, and you have 2 other switches so this kinda unnecessary. Nintendo is the oldest gaming company in the world and yet their tech and graphics are the worst compared to the rest of the industry. Sad indeed

Yes, but the switch is still the 3rd bestselling console of all time so maybe power isn't so important. Nintendo uses a strategy called "Lateral thinking with Withered Technology" which basically means taking cheap/affordable hardware (better for us) which isn't exactly cutting edge but making something new with it. The switch was extremely weak even for 2017 standards, but its value was the hybrid nature, Joy cons, and most importantly the great games. Nintendo doesn't need cutting edge tech to make great games unlike Sony who produces photo realistic games and most of them aren't as good as one modern Nintendo game. Next gen tech and graphics is nice don't get me wrong, but it's not nearly as important as you think.
