I know the first movie got a DVD gift set too called "The Ultimate Fan Pack", which came out 3 months after the initial DVD & Blu-ray release, and features the retail DVD release plus a Loded Diper beanie (or "skull cap" as they call it.) The second movie also had a "Double DVD Pack", which includes the regular DVD bundled with a bonus DVD in its own separate case titled "My Summer Vacation", which includes interstitials where the various characters give monologues about what they did during the summer between the first two movies, most likely produced by a second-unit during production of the second movie. All these shorts are automatically included on the Blu-ray of the second movie, with one short being exclusive to the Blu-ray. (this same practice was also done for several DreamWorks films, Ice Age films, Chipmunks films, Despicable Me, Narnia 3, and possibly more)

One underrated Wimpy Kid product I have in my collection is the Dog Days "Prank Pack" DVD set, which comes with the standard retail DVD of Dog Days, plus the same prank toys as the "practical joke kit", except the whoopee cushion is replaced by plastic dog poop. I remember going to Walmart and wondering whether I should get that set or the Blu-ray, since I had the first two on Blu-ray. But that Christmas, my parents surprised me with both.

Is Diary Of A Wimpy Kid book series any good? Genuinely curious. I saw one the diary of wimpy kid movies a while back on cartoon network. I assume it's based on the book series.
