Fun fact: Bike reflector means „Katzenauge“ in Germany, wich literally means Cateye or Cateyes. So I think the bike reflector at 2:42 with Garfield Eyes as the reflector itself is pretty cool and unique.

One obscure Garfield thing that I think deserves to be mentioned is the freakish garfield pull-string doll. Their eyes have a very similar mechanism to the phones, where pulling the string causes them to flip fully open, but they also have this black plating around them that make them look really unnerving. I had the Garfield mug! It was a gift for my birthday since I loved Garfield as a kid. It was him sitting on the see-saw and I think I got another one but I forgot since it was so long ago. 12:41 I actually have a similar Garfield vase that I collected from this old house in my neighborhood that was being cleaned out in 2022. The vase itself resembles more of a mug shape instead of a cylinder, but Garfield’s design and paint job remain the same. It was probably released sometime between the late 70s and early 80s, and has a Garfield thought bubble with text on the bottom in which it reads, “Climbing is simply a matter of treeing up the right bark”. Edit (10/3/2023): That old house has now been demolished on October 3, 2023.

Another cursed thing about the Garfield Clock plush is that the watch glows in the dark as well, and if you know how they did that in the early 1900s, you would be concerned too... a.k.a, they used Radium based paint which is extremely radioactive.
