FI is nice, but that's a sick platform for a project bike! If you were in Colorado, I'd prob try to take your F3 as I'm missing one in my stable...

I´ve done an Asphalt Rat Rally(1000 miles/24 hr) with that motor and it was very easy. Even my friend done a 1500 mile rally (27 hr) without any problem. That little 250 is almost inmortal.

As much as this hurt to watch because I am a proud owner of this slow and heavy bike. I do agree in some ways. In my experience, I never got on a motorcycle before and at 28 I got this beauty. And learned soooo much. Now im cocky complaining how it wont go over 90mph. This bike will forever be my first love. And now im ready to move onto something better. Mixed feelings.

I am not a great fan of this way to destroy a brand new bike. But just in case, do not remove the front fender holding plate, it's actually a useful part and add some rigidity to the front fork....

@@yammienoob many Suzuki's does. My GS500 has a similar part (strong steel plate joining left and right fork leg, and also supporting front fender). I did modified it to make the fender more easily removable, and considered replacing it with aluminum...but I am not removing it. Some design tricks are not obvious and bike builders are not trying to get rid of extra steel inventory. Believe me : they don't waste time and material just for making small engine bikes heavier...or give you a good reason to make fun of them.

I’m going to have to be that guy when I say, you more than likely lost about 25% of your power by removing the muffler. No back pressure on small displacement engines means no power usually. So glad my ninja 250 was so much better than that bike lol

OK, that was fun! I have been riding for 53 years and have owned a ZX10R, big Harley, GoldWing, and about everything in between. But when I just want to have a blast riding, my go-to is still my little Baby Ninja 250. You can't kill it, and you have to try really hard to mess up on it! Looking forward to your adventures on the Gixxer!

SPEED SHIFT GUYS.....KEEP THE THROTTLE WIDE OPEN BETWEEN SHIFTS. You are turning down the throttle when you shift. Just keep the throttle pinned during shifts and bang the clutch in and out bouncing off the rev limiter between shifts. You can knock off another second or 2 using that method.

I own this bike (living abroad where other better options are few) and love this series. Yeah she's slow compared to other's but still fun. Love the fact you're taking it off road. A reality in other countries. Keep trying to kill the Gixxer. I want to see what it will take.

I have a GW250, the predecessor to that one, unfared. the only mod I did was a windshield so I wouldn't get blown off. As someone who had around 22 tickets before I was 21, I don't need anything that tempts me to go fast. I think it is great as a commuter. Style-wise everyone thinks it is bigger than it is, and the longer than a Ninja Wheelbase makes it ride like a bigger bike.

It's actually an Inazuma GW250 with an SS fairing. And discontinued Inazuma went better (150 km/h). This one goes 140 at max.

What you guys from the US don‘t understand is...those bikes are built for the European market. I‘m from Germany. We have special laws about riding a bike. At the age of 16 we are allowed to ride a 125ccm bike which is even weaker than the bike in the video. A 250ccm like in the Video is only allowed for people who are 18 years old. But also 500 or even 1000ccm bikes are allowed if they are throttled to 48hp. And if you are 20 (with experience of a 125ccm) or 24 (without bike experience) you can finally ride the big bikes without limits. So yeah the bike might be „shit“ but it’s the only thing you can have in Europe if you are young and really want to ride. I‘m 21 now and I‘m allowed to ride anything I want, because I rode a 125ccm for 2 years.

I loved the music. So 1980s promo sounding. This would have been a great bike in the 80s, but lacking today. At bare minimum, should have been a twin.

Of the opinion that there's no such thing as a starter bike, just ones with less power and ones with more. There's riders who can handle power and ones who can't. No such thing as a beginner bike at all.
