@@yammienoob many Suzuki's does. My GS500 has a similar part (strong steel plate joining left and right fork leg, and also supporting front fender). I did modified it to make the fender more easily removable, and considered replacing it with aluminum...but I am not removing it. Some design tricks are not obvious and bike builders are not trying to get rid of extra steel inventory. Believe me : they don't waste time and material just for making small engine bikes heavier...or give you a good reason to make fun of them.

I have a GW250, the predecessor to that one, unfared. the only mod I did was a windshield so I wouldn't get blown off. As someone who had around 22 tickets before I was 21, I don't need anything that tempts me to go fast. I think it is great as a commuter. Style-wise everyone thinks it is bigger than it is, and the longer than a Ninja Wheelbase makes it ride like a bigger bike.

you guys haven't had this much fun with a bike since a long time, it makes me wonder, this little toys put you in a good confidence spot and good control safety, so i guess that feels much better than a 15k 750-999 bike who wants to kill you and add to that the fear to scratch it

So er...... It actually does everything that a larger displacement bike does but cheaper and more economically if you don't mind the acceleration. You don't mind if you drop it and it forces you to ride well while saving you if you don't. How is that the worst beginner bike ever?

I think it's a communication issue. Pretty sure they meant that it is the worst option of the modern beginner bike category, which is objectively true.

At least in the US, you can get better bikes for less money. $4949 for this, or for $50 more, a Kawasaki Z 400, or for $400 less, a Yamaha MT-03?

Didn't somebody once say " It's much more fun to go fast on a slow bike then slow on a fast bike". Chuck some nobbies , better suspension and larger rear sprocket and you will have a lot of fun. If you want to wreck it never change or check the oil and and never lube or adjust the chain. Don't ask me how I know

What you guys from the US don‘t understand is...those bikes are built for the European market. I‘m from Germany. We have special laws about riding a bike. At the age of 16 we are allowed to ride a 125ccm bike which is even weaker than the bike in the video. A 250ccm like in the Video is only allowed for people who are 18 years old. But also 500 or even 1000ccm bikes are allowed if they are throttled to 48hp. And if you are 20 (with experience of a 125ccm) or 24 (without bike experience) you can finally ride the big bikes without limits. So yeah the bike might be „shit“ but it’s the only thing you can have in Europe if you are young and really want to ride. I‘m 21 now and I‘m allowed to ride anything I want, because I rode a 125ccm for 2 years.

It blows my mind that Suzuki uses the same turn signals on all of their bikes. I have a friend with a 2019 GSXS 750 with the same turn signals. It`s 2021 Suzuki. Also I use to have a 2014 Vstrom same turn signals.

Of the opinion that there's no such thing as a starter bike, just ones with less power and ones with more. There's riders who can handle power and ones who can't. No such thing as a beginner bike at all.
