I have quite a few Hatsan air guns, and haven't had a problem with any of them. Hatsan barrels are known for their accuracy, being second only to Walther Lothar barrels. I have a Hatsan Proxima, which they took out of production mainly because people couldn't figure out how to use it... or were simply too weak to cock it. It's an underlever, has an anti-bear trapping system that locks the lever so it doesn't slam down on the user's hand. If someone doesn't cock it all the way, the lever puts a lot of pressure on the anti-bear trap mechanism and keeps it from releasing. A simple pull down on the lever will completely cock it and release the tension on the mechanism. The pic / dovetail combo rails are really not a great idea. A lot of weaver style rings won't go over the upper dovetail. It can be a pain finding rings that will work.

That's got the same platform as the Hatsan Bullboss, I have a Bullboss in 25 caliber and it shoots awesome, you can adjust the trigger and the hammer spring if you want more power

You must be lucky. Our store refuses to sell Hatsn anymore because of their horrible quality control and poor construction. We have had Hatsan PCPs air tubes implode in their boxes and on display, It's quite the opposite. Their older wooden stock airguns like the 150s were decent, but they are getting progressively worse. Hatsan is not a high-quality product. There are cheaper airguns with higher quality and QC control. I'm glad you all have not had any issues. I would hate to see people get hurt from a faulty airgun. Hatsan 12 gauge shotguns are excellent. Wish they would transfer the quality of their shotguns into airguns.

That Hatsan Zada is actually a good air-rifle, especially for the price. Accurate and powerful. It only had 3 reviews on Amazon at the time...hence the low ratings. Reviews on other sites show much more favorable ratings. I agree that the scope is not great, but is par for the course when compared to other scopes included with air-rifles at this price point.

Dry fireing most PCPs is perfectly safe and even part of normal operation for some that dont have a good way to bleed off pressure before dismantling. Im almost shocked that the Hatsan couldnt handle it. I have dry fired all my PCPs on purpose and on accident, but not that much. Not even the cheapest chinese ones will break by dry fireing.

The hatsan zada I just got one today the scope sucks but other than that I like it I will have to sight it in the iron sights like u said feels cheap has a good kick but can’t complain for a cheap pellet gun

First of all, I like his channel, but he didn't really show what the Hatsan Zada could do. One shot group with open sites, using one type of pellet will not give the full story.

I bought the zada in .177, throw away the scope, it won't last long. Next go to harbor freight, get a box of metric o rings, open rear sight (don't lose the spring) take the spring out, place one oring in the hole, put spring on top, instaul screw for a more positive click adjustment..sight in the gun, and it will shoot very well.

You should try out Stoegers air rifles and see what you think of them I got the Xm1 pcp in .22 cal as my starter pcp for $600 (it came with a pump) and it is good and bad.

I got an xm1 s4 in .177 and I love mine. My buddy also has the same model and his really likes benjamin hollow points 7.9gr while mine likes H&N hunter barracuda extreme 9.57gr. They're pretty alright for a cheap pcp, they are decently accurate. With H&N HBE I can get 4 pellets within the same hole at 22 yards but past 50 yards the gun's accuracy isn't anything to write home about. I've taken around 41 pigeons and around 18 sparrows with it all within 30 yards. My magazine broke after using H&N pellets through it so they're not of amazing quality. Blocketh could also wait for the newer xm1 models like the scout and ranger to come out. They have larger air tanks and feature a side lever and picatinny instead of dove tail like the sport and s4.

And me and my dad are havin hard time getting consistent groupings.i had some cheap cross man pullers and I heard alot even from him that pellets can make big difference.would u think the pellets are the problem? i own several pellet riffles that i have bought and i have no issues but havent sighted them in all the way but pretty dang accurate they hit pretty close together i shot the bottle caps off 20 oz bottles with those pellet riffles an no issue with them but the sight is just a little off other than that they are great

You have to detune the Hatsan PCP. And Do Not put those pellets in any PCP riflelz. Too much metal flakes in them. It will get into the transfer port holes and inside the power plant and mess it up. I think that's what has happened man. . awful that that happened. I own several Hatsan and all are very good and superior accuracy from a budget PCP. You messed it up using those awful pellets for PCP gun lol they're ok for breaker barrels after washing them first( cheap pellets) live and learn man🤣🤣🤣😆😆😆😆

All the Hatsan pcp rifles are way heavy. Too heavy to carry all day hunting thats for sure. I bought a Hatsan Invader 25 cal semi auto and it mostly sits in my gun cabinet as its too heavy for my old back. Did i mention it's heavy?
