Very cool! I did furniture flipping for a couple years! Then got pregnant and stopped. It is a physically demanding job with burn out. But flipping pieces on the side (casually) is not too difficult. I would even suggest it to older folks as long as you don’t suffer from any joint/bone issues. It can be a hobby that earns a bit of income❤

I got 4 mcm chairs that a person put out to be thrown away. I redid them (several times) and they are still going strong 25 years later. This type of furniture is usually very sturdy (as well as trendy) and can withstand a lot of wear and tear.

@@FurnitureFlippingTeacher I just really value my time spent not working, so when I personally try to guage whether something would be "worth it" to make money I like to guesstimate the hours spent. That's just personal preference though.

When you do not take off your hourly rate off the gross amount along with your supplies, it does not reflect the true net profit. If you would take off your hourly rate times the actual hours you put into it your profit is not very much at all. You might want to disclose that because if you were paying employees to do the same thing you are doing you would have to either jack up your prices or have a much smaller profit. In other words you are working for free.
