Narrator: As Scott observes his colleague Paru test out his brand new, pricey hammer, he could not help himself but cringe when Paru smashes the hammer into another. Scott with the atmost restraint, could no longer hold himself back and comments "Be careful you scratched it" in a joking manner, in an attempt to conceal his true emotion out of fear of being seen as a frugal man

Got one, love it. I've swung a lot of hammers and the M1 really saves my arm during demo. And the grip is such a simple thing, but it has a tackiness that makes me dislike all my other hammers. Necessary? No. But I do enjoy it tremendously.

I don’t really get spending £250 for a Martinez hammer . I barely use my Estwing nowadays for knocking nails in , just use the nail gun . Hammer is used for tapping timber in place and pulling out bent nails .

I've been using a Hart framing and trim hammer since the early 90s... Hart tool was the inventor of the original California framer. An employee of Hart, left to create Douglas hammers, which is now your Vaughan.... TTI, Milwaukee's parent company ownes Hart and Stiletto. I think that's why Martinez left to start his own line. I dont know if Deluge is still making hammer's....

So the paint usually wears off a blade due to friction and heat, it's impossible to stop it because any prolonged work with a saw will of course cause heat and friction, so you just gotta make sure that the material doesn't clamp down on it.

Congratulations on an excellent channel Scott. I used to train people to make videos like this for the UK Higher Education Sector : different content, same process. I know what you do isn't easy : you are doing a lot of work in the background that isn't seen. Your videos are excellent because of your high production values, the clear presentation of content, the way you weave bits of context into the core message. You keep it light and snappy - and so it's engaging. Add a bit of humour and irreverence and you have the perfect mix for self promotion on the one hand, and technical support for poor (but trying to improve) carpenters like me. Can I offer one idea for you to think about: tagging content within the description and adding time marks to them. Just a thought, not a criticism.
