Hi Jess, I’m so happy you are on this kick and pumping out Murakami content… because I too and obsessed and just want to keep looking at it, researching and discussing it. Maybe it’s the mix of nostalgia and hype but it’s like I can’t hear or see enough of it. Even though my white speedy has the bleeding problem and the store offered me a new (different) bag years later after it had been discontinued… I could not give it up. Even with the defect and with fancier / more expensive bags added to my collection, she has and will always remain the Queen of my collection and my prized possession. I have 3 pieces from the original launch and I never thought to give them up - in or out of style has not mattered to me because it just sparks pure joy. Don’t get me wrong, Im hyper fixated on the East West Trouville, the Side Trunk & Dauphine GM from new launch …But I honestly think the OG release had something more substantial to it and I still feel like it looks cool even though it’s dated … if that makes sense... Like some of the 1960s art that’s old but still has modern vibe. I hear it called childish and garish but that’s art - beauty is in the eye of the beholder 😅

Luxury bags are overpriced and you have to be a fool to spend that much money on a bag. The craftsmanship of replica bags is so high now that no one can tell the difference between the original and the replica. *jklux* so what is the point of paying more for the same product?

I use my *jklux* as a work bag and have had no issues at all. It’s a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadn’t lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and don’t carry a water bottle, pens, keys or anything that can damage the interior.

Hiii Jess! It’s been a minute since I hopped on your channel. U know I watched another KZbinr here and he hit home for me when he said “people that are attached to things, handbags for example it’s a trauma response. They are attached to their handbags because it’s a sign they’ve had trust issues and when we attach to things-we think “my handbags will never leave us.” I finally snapped out of it and will become officially debt free this year. I will forever love luxury handbags but it’s freeing when I’m not attaching to handbags anymore. It’s a fun hobby but it’s not my “everything.” Once I have my finances in order I only want 3 bags at most in my collection to treat myself. This time it’ll be paid in full! No more luxury debt or feeling empty on the inside. I’m wishing u all the best Jess, and I pray u can come to a place of real happiness and peace. The 2025 collection appears to have a neutral lining so no bleeding. Also a few YT bloggers have sprayed Apple Guard from Amazon on the vachetta leather which either prevents or slows down the change in color of the leather. Hopefully, my SA will be able to snag me a few pieces after the new year because I had a hefty mortgage when the initial collection came out so I couldn’t indulge.

I was deciding on what to preorder this weekend, and then my SA said, preorders have been put on hold in my country. She says seems like globally there was such an overwhelming response that LV can’t even keep up with the preorders anymore. I have an upcoming trip to Japan on February and I’m just hoping Tokyo will have the biggest inventory since it’s a Japanese collab! And hopefully I’ll be able to pick up something there instead. PS. Hi Jess. I totally agree with you about Chanel. I have Chanel bags but I’ve there haven’t been any releases over the last few years that have really interested me. And the price increase has really turned me off the brand. But the multicolored LV has always been a favorite of mine. But I think I prefer the original bags over the new ones. I might buy a SLG if I can but I don’t think I will buy a bag. I think you should keep the multicolored bags you have purchased and not sell them off in the future because for me they just make my heart sing. 😂

I’ve been collecting the Murakami LV bags for years now , I absolutely love them and started my collection back in 2005 with the Cherry speedy 25. The obsession is real. I would say don’t just buy any multicolor bag they need to be in good condition, now I’ve just preordered another bag from the new LV multicolor collection 2025 !!❤❤❤I believe the new collection will actually be very desirable and the 20th anniversary edition will be very collectable and 10 years from now they will be vintage too❤!

I’m an LV girly that is what my collection is made of with 3/4 exceptions of other brands. I personally would not buy the old multicolored bags due to the linings. That red just bleeds onto everything and I’d be terrified that my slgs would get transfer on them. So now that the linings are in beige I’d be more comfortable buying. But for me I only am hopefully getting an slg. A small wallet. I’m not too much wanting anything else. I like it but I like other LV items more. As too the quality you keep mentioning I don’t have any flaws in any of my 27 bags. None. The craftsmanship is amazing and I love all my pieces. I really wish you’d stop saying the quality isn’t there. I understand it’s your opinion but as a content creator people listen to you and may forgo buying anything LV because of it.
