Hard to find indeed, affordable restorer body shops, upholsterers, chrome, engine/trans rebuilders, dependable new parts. But have to keep building them cause they put smiles on citizens faces and don't like plastic cars.

SELL ME JUST ONE COOL CAR LIKE THAT MAN. 60 single w/ dogs and an empty 2400 sqft garage,. Had stroke in Dec and again in April have chronic kidney disease 3B avoiding dialysis for 4 years now so for sure if I can get back out in the garage I’ll live longer I believe.

GT-37 base motor was 350, but could get 400 and 455. And, the base T-37 was simply a renamed Tempest, not same as GT-37. Some think all T's were GT's. For '72, base A body was plain LeMans, and GT package was available, with 350 to start, up to 455 HO.

I had a 73 Lemans GT back in the 80s. 350, 3 speed stick on the floor, manual steering and brakes. One day I was too drunk to drive and let my friend drive. Ten minutes later she crashed into the side of a house. Walked away with a broken nose and no more Lemans....

The Pontiac bubble top is the same as the guys on Penny's Hot rods Channel are doing a twin to that. What they did was simplicity, lifted the body off the chassis ,rebuilt that then replaced the floors ,fitted a good engine etc and now have a sharp looking car which could be finished soon. These re simple cars so i reckon that one needs to be saved too .

Watching your videos, sometimes I wish I could just put my life on hold and come over and work with you for a few months. I like your DIY approach and the value you see in all the stuff you come across, my sentiments are the same. No regret in buying the additional cars and parts, you only get these opportunities once. And you've been at this long enough that know what you are doing. (I do wonder though how much of a hit you're taking in fuel costs for a 1600 mile round trip, lol!). Great video!

Cool, Mr. G.P.! You find great auctions. I went to one Yvette Vanderbrink did near Green Bay about 15 years ago and got some deals on small stuff including a spare fender for my dad's '50 Jeepster for only $2.50 (Yes 2 dollars and 50 cents). Haven't been to such a good one since. Wish I could find auctions like you find but here in the Dairyland.

Next time you talk with Dennis Collins, have him slip you a few million to play with.... its only pocket change to him. I know that the rust ranch is probably getting a lot of weeds and brush starting to grow between all the different rigs meaning more work to keep them safe from the elements. If you just walked away for say ten years, there would be a small forest of trees growing through the bumpers. I have seen a few of those sell for crazy prices as art work from thanks to mother nature doing her worst to keep us out saving them out of spots people thought they had been parked in. Truth known, it was a field till they left them un attended. Which motors do we save is a decent question as they all have some values but after market parts are out there now making it questionable as to buy a good engine or fix one that still has problems down the road. Too bad you don't have my many years of body and frame repairs under your belt. The kinked fender you highlighted would be a few hours to be perfect again but two days later its in paint and drying for me... knowing the tricks with all those sweet cutting tools and welders is night and day game changer

Are the floors solid in the bubble top ? Looks like the front suspension from the four door would ft right up under it. In video I saw a dash front and rear bumpers most of the interior. What’s up with this vehicle ? Why you talking about chopping it up to fix a Chevy ? I can’t buy it just curious why it’s a parts car…… like I said years ago I drove one that had a horrible body….. thanks big guy !

laughing at these young kids trying to tell the history of cars they were not old enough to own, but claim to be experts, what this guy is telling half the story, in the late 60s early to mid 70s young soldiers coming back from Vietnam were taking their money and buying performance cars, as they had money, which drove a lot of the sales, on our way home one evening we found 2 dead, heads sheared off in a 69 Chevelle SS, and in 73, the smog crap hit, when gas prices went up, those of us who owned those cars back in the day and were alive, know better, dont trust these you tube huksters to provide you with facts in stead of theory and conjecture
