Yarndale Vlog and Haul time. I vended at Yarndale 2022 last weekend and had a lot of fun - and also bought a lot of yarn! I had birthday money to spend so it would be rude not to, wouldn't it? It was my first time having a market stall at this yarn show, so thought I would vlog the day to bring you along too. It has reignited my excitement with knitting and now I want to cast on ALL the projects. I'm excited and I hope you enjoy the video.

Loved loved your vlog! The crochet stuff was pretty amazing. The pigment and ply is awesome. I vote for a plain raglan to show off its beauty. I went to a local yarn show that combined the animals with the finished product. I am working on a turtleneck in mauve holding a dk tonal with a cashmere single. So squishy. Autumn is my favorite time of year so I can not help but smile. Been an avid fan of yours for a few years. Thank you for your dedication to fiber and vlogs!

I had a great time when I went on Sunday. I got some yarn badger self striping too- going to make socks and probably some matching fingerless mitts with the leftovers. Lovely vlog Hannah was great to see it from a vender perspective. 😊

I also ordered Eskel or the Leshy from Pigment & Ply and I plan to make an elf mail sweater using 2 black Kestrels as the contrast colour. So we can be matching!! It was nice to see you again at Yarndale and I'm sorry we forgot to pop back and buy something! It was so busy we struggled to get round everyone too

Bonsoir Hannah! Wonderful to catch up with you and see Yarndale from your perspective both as an exhibitor and as a shopper! I have all my goodies in my basket by my bed and take everything out at least twice a day to marvel at its content! It was SUCH a delight to meet you and Mario on Sunday and I am pleased that my little box is filling up your cup, in every way! It has been raining all day here but as a gardener and cosy times addict, I shan’t complain in the slightest! Hygge, here I come! Ps: I am going to turn my gorgeous berry into a pendant to wear it during this autumn… and next summer too! Have a restful weekend! 🧶🍄🐾🍁🍎☕🍂

Great vlog of Yarndale, I hope to one day be able to cross the pond and attend one of these shows. Can't wait to see the Pigment & Ply knit up!! Also super excited for the shop update on Saturday... I'm fortunate that they were around the corner from the stand so I couldn't constantly see them, otherwise I'd have spent the weekend making them my friend 😂 x

I thought Yarndale was really quiet - I could get around pretty well in the wheelchair and that's not usual.... I only go to specific shops because it is hard work getting in and out of some of the booths. I don't see a lot of the stuff.....

I think the staggered entry really helped make it quieter, but also ticket sales were apparently down from pre-2020. Let me know if there was anything I could have done differently to make my stall more accessible for you x

@@thecornerofcraft - no - you were fine - I drove straight in - got my stuff all passed to me - most kind - and best a retreat without killing anyone - even if I couldn't back out straight - people realised I was dangerous and got out of the way.... Yarndale is not designed for wheelchairs but for cattle I suppose - so the floor is sometimes a bit off - I knew that before I went.... The worst was the so called accessible toilet - my wheelchair barely fit and I squeaked in pain trying to go to the loo - not fun

It wasn't terrible for me! It just wasn't what I was expecting from ✨️Yarndale✨️ so got my expectations too high x
