You guys can take all the wire/mother boards/keys/ metal separated to Bob's Metal Recycling over close to PIR and can get quite a bit of money if you have it separated. This is what I do with storage lockers like this with the overwhelming amount of wire.

I went to the salvage yard and marveled at all the clean copper. They said there was a new tool that stripped the wire very easily. They also take what they call dirty copper at a lower price.

Already at the first box it was clear this was a Ham radio interested owner. Even older editions of the antenna book can be worth some money. You guys might wanna check a lot of the radio stuff, and also the manuals. In box 2 i saw some Kenwood Manual, probably this is the manual for the transceiver you found later. The coax cable and connectors may also be worth some money, especially the coax with the golden connectors. Do not throw out or sell for copper, without checking the going prices. Thanks for showing this unit.

That soldering iron is what you need to take the components off the boards. You would probably find the de-solder wick in all that jumble of parts. Takes time and doubt if you have that with as busy as you are..

I wonder what the best part of the year is for buying storage lockers as cheap as possible. I should look through what storage units cost around where I live. (I would need to up my storage capacity if I were to go through lockers, but it would be fun to try a cheap one)

I use chipped cups and such as little planters . Some rocks in the bottom for drainage and there good to go for plant babies. The plus they don't end up in the landfill and I get to enjoy the pretty dishes still.

Could you have a word with the guy who took a load of scrap metal from a unit you emptied a while back, because the huge weight of cords you've unboxed would be worth money at a scrap yard. I think you can also take electronic stuff for scrap too... Also if you have the time, would it help to check the books? there might be one or two that are worth good money. They might help balance it out.
