Nothing worse than recording a video and the audio being crap. My usual one is not turning the receiver on... so I get great footage....and then 'Silence'... followed by rage haha.

Ha ha, this is the first time i've tried it, I've now sent these ones back and bought a new "wired" mic, hopefully it works for the bike, I had to bin 3 hours of footage as it was all completely unusable. Devastated

Don't be too hard on yourself, obviously damage free is what you want and thinking back to some previous videos, the effort you've gone to trying not to cause any damage even when they're already busted up is above and beyond most. It's easy to say now what could have been done but sometimes it just happens. Take it on the chin and move on. As for the sound, it would have been a shame to loose a video over that. I've tried really hard to sit through videos in the past (not yours) with terrible sound quality/wind noise. This really wasn't that bad. Looking forward to the next one 👍

Thanks mate, I actually binned over an hour of bad sound quality, and worked hard editing the rest, that's why I think it doesn't sound as bad as i've made out. But after all the editing I had to do I was absolutely done with this video ha ha 😂

Hey, don't they normally clip them at the mid T-Shirt line to get food dribbled on and possibly sound more rumbly? 🙂 Certain supermarkets seem to put front wheel stops just close enough to the kerb to deliberately break naff front spoilers. Mentioning it to the customer showed how observant you are, and not in a bad way.

@@SleafordRecovery Didn’t have to be recovered but once in my Tiger I had some new bolts holding the seats in which were a bit long, came up to one of the triangular shaped speed bumps and the bolts caught on it, just tilted the car enough the rear wheels lost grip on the tarmac. I got out and pushed it off….

Video was fine, you live and learn with things in life so don’t beat yourself up about the mics. Trial and error sometimes. As for the splitter bud don’t worry sounds like it was totally unnecessary on a camper anyway and why would you need to check out first.

I reckon everyone who has done recovery for any length of time has damaged a punters car. I know I have 😂 had a rover tomcat on the back and reversed under something a bit low that was invisible in the mirrors. At he garage I was working for at the time, you got 1 free one. Boss called me a dick and that was the end of it. Well, until the next one 😆 I also managed to tow a little pug from Truro to Bristol on the spec with the handbrake on (bye bye wheel bearings, guess they got a bit hot) but pulling it with an 18 tonner, you really didn't notice the extra resistance. My favourite lowered car was an E30 convertible with lost keys. Steering was straight, so couple of slippery Jims under the back wheels and pull. I explained to the guy very clearly that it was going to damage his body kit, as it was barely an inch off the tarmac at the front. Gave him a disclaimer to sign, which he did without an issue. Got the winch set up ready and asked him again if he definitely wanted me to carry on. He did. Used the levers instead of the remote so I could take the slack out of the winch nice and gently. Asked again, he said carry on. First little pull and there was a tiny cracking noise from the plastic and he yelled at me to stop 😂😂😂 he suddenly decided he could afford to get a Locksmith out to it. Callout and half hours winching to not move the car at all. Nice easy job 😂
