My god. You just unlocked a secret wish I had as a kid that got lost with time. I always wondered what the rest of the military base from the random event looked like. I always thought as a kid that the random event was just a teaser and that when I became member I would have a quest into that area. Thanks a ton.

I was an admin on an RSPS called HG-RS (RuneScape hunger games) and I actually used this as a map. After discovering it by teleporting to random locations I couldn’t let such a cool area go to waste.

I LOVE the camo agility course idea. Instead of giving more pieces it could encourage people to do the random event by giving players I nice little bit of agility xp (800-2500? Depending on level?)

Yeah similar to how evil bob's island gives you fishing xp. It would also be a good incentive to get the full outfit to unlock it and explore the area

There was a part in Dragon Slayer 2 where you had to assemble a map of the islands around Fossil Island. I believe the small islands were there so you could get a sense of bearing for the area.

I heard about the Zamorak area back when it was originally discovered around 2010. Through an extraordinary stroke of luck, someone just so happened to have their graphics settings a certain way that caused it to become visible. I almost didn't believe it as it sounded like one of those playground rumors, but I tried it out myself and lo and behold, there it was. You could even examine the bubbles. I think it said something like, "Precious oxygen escaping." It wasn't until the orb of oculus got released that we got a better glimpse of the area, but finding hidden areas like this was absolutely insane.

I bet the full Ghorrock fortress will be accessible in Desert Treasure 2. We do access an underground portion of it in Secrets of the North.

More than likely yes. The Duke Sucellus teaser references fighting him in an "Icy haunt" which could very well be Ghorrock. The area is very important in the Ritual of the Mahjarrat quest in RS3 so it will almost definitely have use in DT2.

Ghorrock's Fortress will likely be a location of one of the Desert Treasure 2 bosses, and if not, a sequel for DT2. DT2 serves to partially recreate The Temple at Senntisten and Ritual of the Mahjarrat quests from RS2, lore-wise DT2 sort of fits at an adjacent point to the Temple at Senntisten in the storyline but the OSRS team is known for kinda combining multiple RS2/RS3 quests into one larger OSRS quest, so who knows?

I want Fist of Guthix and Stealing Creations so very bad! I loved both of them so much, and played way too much back in the day. It'd be fantastic to get them in osrs, with new rewards introduced. I think most of the original rewards would be fine, but some would definitely need some slight balancing before being introduced.

Honestly as an RS3 player the rewards are balanced. You get bonus xp yes, but are you really saving time/being efficient? Not really. The time spent in the minigame could ahve been spent skilling and you'd make the same xp if not more.

Basically instead of solely skilling for an hour you could get the same exp by skilling half the time and playing Stealing Creation the other half. That's just overestimating too. Idk how fast you could get a clay tool as a max account on a no-pvp clan chat world, but it took me like an hour or so just to get 1 volatile clay tool to use

that demon area should act as a level 1 agility course so that accounts that are region locked can use the demon event as a way to get their agility up without the gnome stronghold course or lamping!!

IN RS3 the penguin area still exists the mini game hub is by Falador the fort by the wildnerness can be accessed after a quest leading to the ritual site so many of these areas still exist in RS3

The Stealing Creation area apoears to be assets directly borrowed from RuneScape when Fist of Guthix, Stealing Creation, Clan Wars, and Corporeal Beast were moved to a cave system under Falador
