People rarely talk about the pickaxe head discontinued content. It was a random event that would cause the head of your pickaxe to fly off, it has an animation of flying into the air and landing a few tiles away from you. You were left with a pickaxe handle, I don't remember what the exact name of it was, as well as the "pickaxe head" after you went and picked it up. You had to use the head on the handle to re-create your pickaxe. There was no reward or in-game text for this, so if you truly weren't paying attention you could have lost your pickaxe. Only happened to me once, I remember one guy knew it happened to me because they saw my pickaxe head fly off, we shared a laugh.

I just noticed something of what the chaos elemental said “the abyss left a scar and she was consumed” was probably a reference to the new runecrafting minigame because the abyss that the monsters come through is called the scar and the girl during the quest is consumed by the portal

MAN. What a nostalgia hit. I remember the little brown man, I was woodcutting back in maybe 2005 for hours. I was just a little noob back in the 5th grade. Small brown spirit came up, told me to leave his woods, and proceeded to attack and KILL me. I stopped woodcutting after that for a while. But I can confirm that this did once exist.

So THAT was what I saw in Draynor Village when I was skilling up fishing. I always thought it was that wizard nearby that ppl attacked or the evil tree that knocked off your axe head and you had to go gather it. I guess the brown man and the black hooded guy probably looked similar to me as a kid, but that does explain so much. Also explains ppl running away from the tree and running back to reset it :D

Bluerose13x did not have a "head start" she had a partner in RSC who mined loads of ores for her in exchange for her smithing services once she achieved 99 for free. BTW the very first 99 ever was Woodcutting by a guy named "Everdred"

Trimmed skirts were added to the game long after clues were released. This caused a Def req oversight allowing 1 def to wear them. I did it with a Black Skirt g, unsure about god rune. and took over two years to get patched.

The message from Chaos Elemental it looks like his talking about the Ruins of Camdozaal from the quest Below Ice Mountain that was an old Zarosians fortress in Lassar . Vardorvis was a a unknowed race trying to hunt Yonrith Lovakengj , that was leader of an army of dwarfes allied with Saradomin and fought against the Zarosians at Lassar during the God Wars. The Zarosians were defeated and the Saradomin race rewarded them with the fortress, and rebuilt it as the dwarven city of Camdozaal. We know that the Chaos Fanatic is a Zamorakian mage/scientist researching the chaos elemental and presumably zaros and ancient magicks. He was presumably corrupted by the chaos elemental and driven insane by it due to prolonged exposure while researching the baby elementals. Either he recovered it during his expedition in the wilderness (possible since Forinthry was the seat of Zaros' power in the late God Wars era), or he was previously a Zarosian mage but defected to Zamorak after the betrayal of Zaros and return of Zamorak, once the God Wars dungeon unfroze the chaos fanatic could have escaped and begun his research on the Chaos Elemental. The question from the player is '' What even are you ? '' .. From my logic Chaos Elemental is from the Zarosian race. The part of the Serpent and the Abbys left a scar i have no idea what could be :S Also found this on Wiki of chaos .. Lethe Napier Flem, a name used by the Chaos Elemental in issue 25 of Postbag from the Hedge[1], is an anagram of The Fallen Empire Could be a new quest ... like the new ones for the Tombs of Amascut or the Chaos could be just signing as the Fallen Empire as ( The Zarosian Empire ) . Any thoughts?

Umm I know websites that have all the caches known to date. Its not hard to look through a cache, just need specific tools if you want to do it with ease.

i think the chaos elemental was talking about nex, with the ice related lines, and the 4 four objects opening a door, lassar is a zarosian fortress on the ice mountain accessed by an ancient teleport spell

chaos ele letter mentions sands/snake (tombs of amascut?) also there are references to ice, blood, and the abyss (shadow?-like shadow barraging the abyssal sire to stun him), however no references to smoke.. unless you count the snakes as poisonous (theyre venomous but rs fks it up all the time anyway) and smoke spells have a chance to poison. perhaps this letter is hinting at a connection between something at tombs of amascut being related to zaros or the ancient spellbook? best of luck!

i remember back in the day picking up a mithril mace in edgevilles prison, where there is now an iron mace spawn, and know i did it because i got 20 atk before 10 str and couldn't figure out how to train str as my brother had done it for me. my question is was that actually a mithril spawn before it was changed to iron? it would have been around 2004-5

You might have some more info than me on the topic but i was around in that weird stage of Runescape before EOC and stayed with Runescape threw that period. I dont have screenshots but i have a 15 year vet acct on RS3 and can answer any questions from my personal expierence on the matter. Im found on 330 at guilded or running barrows at the 1500 worlds all the time on OSRS so just ask around there and youll eventually run into me on my new main. I believe the random he is missing the information if it was indeed a fishing random would have ben the giant fish that would steal your fishing equipment such as a harpoon but it was later replaced with a whirl poll random and then was removed later on. I believe this is the random as it does match up with the 2004 time line and was 100% a random before the river troll was a thing.

I got stuck once, I had been afk for a few months logged in and I was behind a general store counter with the npc named Emily, who I had actually broken up with prior and she use to watch me play rs, so that was heart breaking in so many ways, I kinda wanted to camp there but I also wanted to play rs, I got out because it was around the time they released the home teleport where you could teleport to lumbridge for free.
