I appreciated your review so much that i just ordered one! And got the $20.00 dollar cheap case. I have no intention of throwing it anywhere! I don’t worry about any guitar getting common everyday abuse. I appreciate your advice about not having electronics. I have about 6 HB guitars. Some are better than others. Unlike Firefly etc, you actually have a choice of what you buy and not just grabbing one that turns up online. I expect this to be a good guitar! Thank you for your review..... It could be very nice to compare this CLD-41 SE WN with the other one you have already tested the CLJ-45E vs. There is any comparaison of this 2 beautiful guitars which are the high grade of Thomann acoustic guitars. Both seeems really very good. But we can't find any comparaison between these two in same condition it's always a different video for each. I think it could be very interesting for many guitarists to see and ear them in the same video. Thanks a lot for this demo. 👍😉

I have compare this guitar with a Epiphone masterbuild dr400.. And the HB kills it in every way..Fatter sound and better set up..The Epiphone had sharp frets..

I gave my new Yamaha to a friend down on luck my wife gave a Yamaha 30 years ago I love it the new was beautiful to but my friend needed a lift .Im looking to buy a new one like this one .I love my single cut HB so im guna give this guitar a shot it looks beautiful ill comment back when it gets here

What kind of strings would you recommend for a rich deep and powerfull sound? The standard daddario that come from the factory do sound a bit bright and souless and i m thinking of giving the Elixir 13-56 80/20 bronze a try. Any opinions on those?

Na EytschPi im Vergleich zu Gibson oder Martin wäre nun mal vieeeeel interessanter! Ich selbst habe die China-Version von „Martin“ compare gespielt - Lack und Holz spielen eine erhebliche Rolle! Ich darf in jedem Fall zugeben, die 12-saitige HB ist schon klasse und das darf ich mit Gibson und Fender Akkustik- und E-Gitarren-Besitzer schon neidlos anerkennen!

HB Acoustics have laminated back and sides... still great guitars. Top is most important in the sound

Ι would argue that using a more expensive mic with any guitar would translate the experience of it being next to you in a more realistic way, wouldnt it? Don't better (so, more expensive) mics pickup the sound in a more "true" and natural way?

What kind of strings would you recommend for a rich and deep/bass sound? I find that the factory 12-53 are a bit bright and soulless when i got mine.

What kind of pick are you using? The type of pick you use has the greatest effect on how the guitar sounds. My top 3 picks are the Dunlop 500 .46mm(light pink one) for the richest, fullet tone, the Dunlop Ultex .60mm for a loud, balanced tone and the Dunlop Tortex TIII .50mm jazz style for the loudest, sharpest tone. In general any pick over .60mm is going to make the guitar sound loud and kind of flat. I'm sure there are other picks that sound better, but these are the ones you can find anywhere for very cheap.
