So.. yeah it happened. I was setting up a timelapse and my Canon 5D Mkiv with the Canon 16-35mm f2.6L fell off the boxes and completely destroyed my camera... hopefully it'll be fixed soon. We also install the Legends Media Tow Strap on the 2018 type r!

I am a tow truck driver. I would never use that strap as a functional tow strap at that location. That crash beam is not meant to be winched/pulled from. I always attach to the frame/chassis.

I personally use a local state farm to cover my equipment 100% I pay like 360/year for 20k worth of gear. Keeps me covered really well. Quick turnarounds too.

strength wise, the tow strap should be mounted with the hole parallel to the bottom of the crash bar. otherwise when pulled, the stress is somewhat diagnal instead of relying on the bolt. just a thought.

Don't worry Dustin u gonna get a good camera replacement. I personally don't see the need for these huge ass camera set ups just to do a vlog. I see Street speed 717 using a go pro and I am amazed how his video quality is so nice like a expensive camera. I can understand for cinematics and stuff you can use a quality camera.

just put it one all in one video if you have time for it. But we would understand if you wanna do seperate videos to save time and "easier" content = more ad revenue. Will still watch it though of course :P

How much for a tow strap in red? Just saw your video of installing your short shifter I know you probably won't know the house short did you go if you put your fingers straight is it under or a top of the ( passenger airbag) ?
