I broke my bike

Trying to get a quick century done before the remains of Hurricane Hillary hits us tomorrow. Things didn't go to plan because my seat post broke at mile 57. Fortunately I wasn't 43 miles from my car.

Terry, Are you interested in covering the Santiago Creek Bike Trail extension that is being excluded in the upcoming multi million $ flood control project? This is a golden opportunity to connect TWO 30+ mile bike trail systems and it is being ignored.

If we could just pave the last 1/4 mile of trail we would have 50 miles of designated paved bike trail and lane from Edna Park on the Santa Ana River Trail to Wood Canyon in Laguna Niguel. ( I saw you tried it and did a lot of dirt and gravel on your trip but if you had turned right at the nursery, it would have been paved the whole way 😂)
