Well, not much to say here except don’t do what I did and that is, don’t hit yourself in the forehead with a hammer! I know some of you may ask yourself sometimes, “let’s see what It’s Poppin’ what do in this situation” and this definitely is not one of those times. Hard to say.. ? I have a Rockwood HW276 with the same Gearflag cover as you. We have different wheels, and the front of the trailer doesn't look the same..

be sure to check your lift system tree. dust and dirt gets on the threads of the wiffletree and can force the loose bearings out. Also, I installed the replacement wiffletree available, and its pitch is higher, thus illiminating the need for for the clutch dog brake in the rear. (they often wear out).

@@ItsPoppin -same trailer. fleetwood niagara highwall. some have electric lift, most are manual. if you hear a 'thunk' when lifting its the chain slipping on the gear, (due to resistance on the tree).

Glad you are OK. Bad location for a smack, bleeds so much, scares the heck out of the Lady Folks. We keep a full first aid kit in our tow vehicle along with our full K-9 kit. Smaller kits in pup, and daypack. I keep blood stop packs in the same locations with butterfly closures. Glad you found another project pup, maybe a Rockwood? Can not wait for the reveal. Wife agrees with previous comment, you are still handsome. I am jealous. lol We thank you for sharing the real world issues that can come about. I did notice pup has rollers on back, they appear to not be lower than stab-jacks. Enjoy the new project. Waiting with great anticipation for next installment. Bless you and yours. Lesson of the video is that speed and complacency are the enemy of health and safety. Glad you're ok and just a small injury. A good pair of stout adjustable pliers or channellocks is great for any emergency toolkit.

I’m glad you’re (mostly) okay. This made me chuckle a little bit because things like this happen to us sometimes. My husband is handy as pockets on a shirt, but every day is an adventure with him. Oh my goodness, glad you are ok!! We actually just knocked our stabilizer crooked pulling it in the driveway (weird angle) this weekend. It's able to be bent back into place, so not too bad. Congrats on the new camper, can't wait to see! 💞

I've crossed the nullabor 15+ times and my go-to tool kit is - air compressor (never needed it fortunately), battery jump pack (used once or twice), Strong duct tape (held a bumper on after hitting a kangaroo), spanner set and screwdrivers and a couple of shifters(things happen, the sliding door of the tow vehicle even half fell off once), hammer, first aid kit, 10l of water in a separate container to the pop up water tank. And ofcourse the kids bike tyre repair kit when taking bikes :)

@@ItsPoppin Aha that might be an Australian or atleast highly localised term. Adjustable Wrench? I carry one huge one as the camper spare tyre has a massive nut holding it on and one mid sized. If I need to undo a nut and bolt then I have the proper sized spanner and an adjustable wrench for the other side

It's a 2005-2010 Fleetwood Niagara. I have the same one. Great trailer - and have replaced a lift cable, rear crank welds and wiffletree.

Glad the hammer missed your eye! The first day with our popup we messed up a stabilizer scissor jack by driving onto our property and hitting a low tree trunk. Replacing the stabilizer was our first project.

That stinks you got hurt man. I just bought my first pop up about 3 weeks ago. I just took it out this week for the first time. I knew what to do because of you and I even taught the guy I bought it from some tricks I learned from you so we both thank you lol. I wanted to ask if you have a video or have ever considered making a video on how long your battery last, when to used battery or gas for longer boondocks trips. Just wondering because I want to head out soon for like a week and as of right know then only why I see that going well is with an extra propane tank and a solar panel. Just wanted you thoughts. Although your situation with hitting the curb could have been worse, you still help us to ensure we take into account the length & "newness" factor when towing and I thank you for that. Rockwood High Wall? Now I dont feel bad about driving my new one home 2 hrs in the rain and dropping a tire off the side of the driveway and getting it stuck. Had to unhook and push it around with a floor jack and finally get it parked.

Question... so I’m extremely new to pop ups I have a 2021 flagstaff 228d and I’ve only took it out once, we noticed that every time we used the toilet we would have black water leaking in the floor at the exterior base of the toilet. I watched your video on cleaning your portable black water tank and the flange appeared to be in good shape, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Our pop up has no jack, so do I use my car jack, what about placement of jack, I don't see a specific spot on the frame for a jack, does it have to be disconnected from the tow vehicle? It seems every one of my vehicles wants a small blood sacrifice when I work on them, though a hammer to the forehead is one up one me ( I hope it didn't hurt too much ). The highwall trailers seem to have more storage space than the older pop-ups, be careful not to stuff it too full with stuff. I have seen them over loaded on their axle rating.
