2:12 I would love to get an '89 ef wagon; I would then awd swap it with the crv trans and other awd components. Do a small lift with rally related suspension! Then a K 2.4l engine with mods for 5-750HP. Have different tune settings so you can choose on the fly the HP available! Then enjoy!!

It’s definitely an 88-89. The dash and door panels you got are 90-91. If you want seatbelts get ya some 90-91 doors they have the seat belts in them! There’s a lot of little differences between the 88-89 and 90-91 I have enjoyed watching your build!

I rebuilt an Olds 350 and was all the way to placing the carb. 2 cases of Keystone in my friend, and I looked over to the woodpile to see my valley pan gasket laying there. Dugh!

Torque converter might have drained back causing it to look over full. If you would have checked it when it was running (like your supposed to) it would have probably read normal.

I had a blue 89 CRX Si as my second car (my first was a 79 F150 that got sold to my neighbor. He offered stupid money that I couldn’t turn down). My father got it in leu of payment for helping clean up some property. He gave it to me. This was in 1999. I had it for a few months and traded it for a 89 Mazda 929. It ended up being a bad trade (obviously). Never really regretted it. But my ultimate garage goal is to own every car that I owned in high school again. The list is: 79 F150 89 CRX Si 89 929 86 Century 3.8l 89 Beretta V6 86 Bronco II w/3.8l swap 89 Shelby Daytona turbo 86 Duster/Turismo. I still have one of my high school cars, my 73 AMX.

Never use compressed air to do what Casey calls clean it out, this will force some debris down the motor always use a shop-vac

You have to check the transmission fluid with it running and warm, plus the torque converter will sometimes leak back into the transmission if the vehicle sits for long periods of time. Great video
