I am confused. Solo MAGICKA with Frozen Watcher's (heavy not light) that adds STAMINA and AXE? Where is the staff? It's supposed to be magicka build.

A good replacement for the Tri Restoration Potions are of course the selfmade Bugloss-Columbine-Dragonthorn Potions. All ingredients are fairly cheap and save you the hassle of switching potions during combat. Great vid as always, this might become my next build

Hey Hack does this build seam viable: Stam Warden, Ork, Thief stone. With 2p -Velidreth, 5p - Pestilent Host, 5p - Plaguebreak and 1p - Merciless Charge. Using flies. or would that set up work better as a stam crow.

I see a lot of people commenting about low dps, that's not the point is it. I just took this through vet falkreath hold solo and it works like a charm Edit: To add to that, I've been able to complete all veteran solo arenas and many other vet dungeons, it can do everything solo, on top of that this is one of the few almost fully frost focused builds I've seen which is nice for RP :), and yes of course there are a few situations where this might struggle with DPS checks like in vatesheran hollows. Which is why I swap out fetcher in fection for Frost Reach and swap out malestrom ice for masters ice in those situations, with the new warden passives you can spam the shit out of frost reach while blocking for HUGE frost damage and DPS checks will be fine

Have you tried this build with a frost troll boss? I like this class but the frost damage seems good until you fight a mob with frost resistance. Any advice?

Seems like a pretty low dps set up tho extremely sturdy. How does it perform on solo arena where you have to make a dps check, like final boss vet vateshran ?

Normal arenas are fine but it can struggle with some DPS checks as you said in Vet arenas. I prefer this one for world bosses and dungeons without dps check mechanics

I really like this setup. I am curious about the choice of S+B on the front bar. Most people do that for the Pierce Armor taunt, is there extra blocking mitigation with the shield as opposed to running another frost staff or a DW setup? And thanks for all your content btw. I love the fact that your builds don't use trial gear. It makes them so much more obtainable.

This is a perma-block build so shield has the best passives for that. Plus you get the extra armor, trait and glyph supplied by the shield itself which provides better stats overall

Maybe it’s me; but why are we using a 1h / shield if we are not really much doing melee fighting? Seems this is more of a range DPS build. I’ve been looking all over the place for a good melee dd warden build but seems most builds are all based off the staff. I do love this build but would it hurt just putting staffs on both ends?

Unfortunately it would (not too much) but the purpose of the sword and shield is to soak up big damage with your stam so you can have enough mag to use the damage You can do it with both staffs but you'll be blocking with mag and using abilities with mag, so you'll have to watch the resource

Hi I am a golden oldie I would appreciate it if you can explain how I just use block and kill stuff. I understand a sword you waka mole till mob is dead I just cant see how blocking kills mobs thank you

In ESO you can still cast skills while holding block AND you take much less damage. It’s not a typical approach but it is fun and powerful

Is growing swarm worth having in magicka build? I understand u have it on sustain but is it worth for sustain or higher dmg? I had mine on but the bleed dmg are very low Plus…dang dude how u still have enough skill points? I am having hard time filling these up.

It works great even on a magicka build. Slightly less single target damage but easier sustain

Right now, both are strong classes. Templar is a much easier character to play overall, but I really enjoyed the warden class. Last night I used my warden to tank, heal and DPS, on a normal dungeon with my oakensoul build.

They are both strong especially for solo play. Templar is easier thanks to having a simpler rotation imo - but once you master Warden it’s really fun and strong too

I have 2 wardens, so far my favorite class. I have a Khajiit stam warden as my main and an imperial mag/tank warden. My imperial warden as a mag dps is pretty tanky and does well in base game but still working on the tank build with him. Ice furnace weapons and jewelry with icy conjuror or frost bite is pretty nasty

Hey, Gandalf. I am far from an expert for ESO, but my brother plays a Warden Tank and he can solo damn near everything in the game, save raid content. He does some nuts stuff. He doesn't use this build exactly. He has his own build that I haven't seen displayed anywhere, but Warden Tanks are incredibly strong if done right.

Because Frozen Watchers damage is based on Max Health (according to ESO Hub at least) and Gripping Shards is too. How would the Plague Doctor set work with this build?

I tried more health to increase the damage of both, but it drastically lowers the damage of all your other skills so it’s not worth it for solo - only if you want to tank group content

I played this class when they hated you for playing it and i was out doing most dps. and i laughed one time because someone said combat metrics told them they were doing 90% of the damage, so i did /sitchair and told them to kill everything without me and see how that goes. They died and tank died because they couldn't kill gamyne's shadows at all, after they wiped i proceeded to clear the room by myself save the tank without their aid in damaging the shadows because they tried to do what i did and sit and watch me fail, so i succeeded and then they never spoke again. now i feel reluctant to even try, doing a warden because i felt invincible and powerful while playing it and now days i feel like a floppy wet noodle, so if you can find a way to make stamina warden feel like that again for me it'd me much appreciated. though it is only a request and i don't think anyone can do that anymore

lol I had something similar going on back in the day, always get these type of players who spend time in a dummy circle jerking their dps output but then when they go to actually play the game they wouldn't dodge roll, wouldn't use block, getting killed fast then blaming the healer. Never joined a guild and didn't bother as these type of players are very common. I have done vets, and still players don't know the basics of combat

Update: just finished this build, the older version actually with even less dps and took it into vMA, it actually does decent damage considering I was at full health basically all of the time
