Ari can speak pretty good mandarin. She brings a little zest to the language. She needs to communicate more with the locals and Jay needs to speak more Chinese to her at home because that's going to be her 2nd primary language beside english.

Totally agree with you. Ari's Chinese is really picking up. Yes, she speaks Chinese with a certain accent, but I find that to be the perfect imperfection; just lovely to listen to.

因为现在很多都搞近海养殖了，大的集团甚至是搞远海养殖，就出国国外的那种特大养殖笼，一笼就几百万斤那种。在中国，渔民的收入属于比上不足比下有余的，只是确实辛苦

日照是一个很朴实的海港城市，物价不高，人很淳朴。可以考虑去威海烟台走走看看，在山东，除了鲁菜，烟台和威海是很难代表山东的传统形象的，尤其是方言，我们中部山东人觉得都是外语😂

Asian fishing style is what they caught just accept it, never waste. Whether the shrimp or fish or crab or any type of seafood fishermen will take it. Then it sort out in different sizes and sell it. Is good to let senior tau fu and Ari to experience fishermen lifestyle.
