But I havent seen one for instruments of destruction (Edit: having checked the instruments of destruction playlist he did a spinning wheeel thing that was like a bunch of wrecking balls attached to em... But not a 0G vehichle.)

considering how non-newtonian the water is, i think your 'boat' is less floating and more being light enough to be pushed by the water upwards enough to not die, and always angled such that going forward also adds upward thrust with how the thrusters are oriented. a more feasible way to traverse the water would probably use the paddles of your first design, just with thrusters spinning them hard enough to 'slap' the water to get that traction and resistance to keep it above the water.

You do realize buoyancy is based off how much weight there is compared to area space.... It's party why we can a chunk of steel we call a boat travel on water

@@delavanty yes, but keep in mind the water doesn't seem to act like water. i have no idea on how its programed exactly, but it looks like the water resists things hitting it with large force, but sucks up/lets sink things that don't move. so to traverse this water, you need to keep hitting it with a large amount of force to keep yourself from getting sucked in. i think the main reason why the craft didn't sink was because the balloons were applying just enough upwards force to keep it from sinking down further than we saw. also, those balloons are likely not programmed to actually increase buoyance, but rather apply constant upwards force like the gimbal jet in trailmakers. actually programming buoyance and water physics is such a pain in the but and adds so much complexity into a game that its just easier to have 'water' be a simple area with different physics.

In the 1960s the leader of the Soviet Union bragged about having ship that could jump over bridges. Machine he was talking about was ekranoplan also called caspian monster. So my request is: replicate ekranoplan in trailmakers as historical failure.

I looked up ekranoplan and it was not an historical failure. It was undetectable by sonar but also hard to detect by radar and even used till 1980 by scientists as a flying laboratorium.

Scrapman literally tries to make a boat in a water that is programmed to pull down debris so it doesn't lag the game Because floating debris does more movement and it will lag the game so the water is programmed to solve that problem

I have a suggestion for a vehicle in Instruments of Destruction: Can you try making a vehicle that looks like Anomalocaris. Anomalocaris was an animal that lived in that Cambrian Explosion 500 million years ago. It would use its 2 tenticle like opendages on the front of its face that would curle up and down. When the 2 tenticles grab Pisces of a building, it will drag it twords its mouth on its stomach. Also just for a bonus: can you try making the fins move up and down?

I was surprised you didn't do any buyancy test to the parts. Also i don't think to water is THAT unrealistisch since water irl does have a massive surface tension. But overall i enjoyed that alot... Like ALOT since you push the game to the Limits and above. And thats where the fun starts. And thats why i love your content. Really good work. Love it.

It seems like your creation sinks once the last block is submerged. Can you keep yourself alive if you attach a balloon to a rope? If balloons don't count, maybe a Balloon plus a single "actual" block? Balloon plus the cockpit? If it works, you know what you have to do: The first submarine in Instruments of Destruction!

it appears to me the most of the drag occurred when the thrusters submerged in the water so if you built it with a pontoon on either side with balloons in them and slightly lower the boat it may work much better

I'm pretty sure you can move the cab & you can then do it infinitely making it possible for you to spawn on the water (I've only ever played the demo & there it was possible making some levels cheatable so it might have gotten patched)
