Thank you very much! I love using the grip now. Will be making more videos regarding the RB67 now that it's easier to hold.

You really impressed me. I want to design a 3D printed version grip by my own. Thanks 👍

I'm right handed but for me it makes sense to have the grip on the left. I use my right to also cradle the camera in the palm of my hand, focus and trigger the shutter button with my index finger. The handle along with everything else being on the right side isn't ergonomic. It's gets in the way of cocking the shutter and film back.

You got that right about the RB-it was really designed to be operated with the right hand. The right handed grip is admittedly a compromise that I use mostly when I shoot handheld with the prism finder. I find I could frame and shoot lower shutter speeds with the grip and prism. Helps prevent my wrist from twisting too. For all other setups, I use the left handed grip, or just remove the grip and use a strap to carry the weight of the camera.

Thata amazing very good, I'm new to the Mamiya how do you shoot the mamiya with no film?
@GoneWithFilm4 жыл бұрын
You can shoot it as long as all the proper interlocks are enabled (check the manual to be sure, it really is confusing when using the camera for the first time). Make sure the shutter button is unlocked. Check if the film back is seated firmly in the rotating adapter and remove the dark slide from the film back. Also check if the rotating adapter is locked in either fully vertical or fully horizontal position, not halfway. Cock the shutter lever to ready the camera and then press the shutter button.

Yikes, those Mamiya cameras look heavier than consumer videocams! Mga videocam lang siguro ng mga TV stations ang mas mabigat. Galing naman ng DIY grip mo.
