Sorry, maybe off topic, it would you recommend buying a planer? Like the lunchbox/bench top one you have? I don’t have a huge amount of money so I have to think about where my money goes and planers are expensive even the “cheap” ones.

Hey @tomidsch I would definitely invest in a planer! They are expensive but they let you do so so much in the workshop! If you don't need it urgently and can keep checking facebook marketplace you can often find very decent ones for less than half the price! I see a lot of dewalt, WEN stuff although currently on amazon the WEN planer is super cheap for whatever reason!
