Those sausages are called frikandel in dutch. They are fried and oftentimes consumed with mayonnaise, curry ketchup and unions. But is fun to see how you use them to build a track, and the ingame model makes them indeel look like logs.... Edit: saw how you named the track so it was already known...

ah damn you got me 🤣the videos aren't always recorded in the same order of operations as you see them edited. In this case the intro was recorded after the build because not everyone was awake for a coherent intro right away lol. The reason for multiple files is because I sometimes come up with better names for my tracks so I just save them again. Any further questions, your honor? xD Also in the showcase section the track is literally called TestLevel because I had to revert to a backup lol.

Actually these are frikandellen which aren’t sausages since they’re not encapsulated by anything like intestines or other stuff to hold it! They’re more like a very tightly packed stick of meatloaf made of garbage parts of various animals!

Being stuffed into a casing does not make it a sausage. Being meat ground, salted and spiced makes sausage, then it can be linked or pattied.

@@swskitso the official definition of sausage is "an item of food in the form of a cylindrical length of minced pork or other meat encased in a skin, typically sold raw to be grilled or fried before eating." also as a dutch citizen who has worked in places that sell frikandellen I can confirm that its looked very weirdly at to call a frikandel a sausage. its definitely sausage-like but definitely not an actual sausage

After 6 years cutting meat and making sausage i will stick with what i know, which is a sausage without a casing is still a sausage. People in america will find it odd if you call a hotdog a sausage but that does not change that it is a sausage.

@@swskitso the definition disagrees and I can definitely say that here in the Netherlands almost no one regards a frikandel as a sausage. If a frikandel would be a sausage then an americano, viandel, kroket and Kipvinger should all also be sausages, one of those is literally just an extra crunchy long chicken nugget

Video idea: make a full on racetrack like laguna seca or nurburgring with nice and wide tracks and corners and a bunch of boosts, and multiple checkpoints at the start for multiple laps for an overall time of 4 or 5 minutes. It would be all driver skill to get a faster time and people would continue to find faster and faster lines

Thats not a sausage, thats what we call a Frikandel, often eaten together with fries as a snack. if you put 2 of them with some fries and add the right sauses (mayonaise and ketchup i think) you have a "Waterfiets" (water bike)

I have an idea for a 100% random track to drive people nuts. Basically fall from the start to a series of fans that juggle the cart infinitely Somewhere have a single hammer that can bash the cart out of the wind and into a finish, if the timing and luck are there. Idea is basically a hands free random time generator.
