Try using dark oak wood in your builds too it looks pretty similar to spruce but it is an alternative to using it. Also stripped dark oak logs look really good for houses and buildings

Good for you in branching out a bit. Dude i get it. Minecraft is a very medieval-palette kind of game, and stone and spruce go with that style so well. But occasionally, you've got to try something new. I'm running an island paradise solo wirld right now that is based on mud and bamboo and having a blast. It's very not my palette but so fun and has made me a better builder.

"Branching out" 🙄🤣🤣

it also makes you build in different styles. since bamboo and the like don't really match a medieval style build

Keep up the amazing work. love the build. It's good to see you build something else industrial. Im not a fan of brick blocks, but they do work well for this style.

its very different from normal builds, but its awsome! i dont know if it works but maybe green carpet or mos carpet on top of the hoppers, as if its gras underneath the trees. i only forgot if the hoppers wil stil pick the items up, that must be tested. DONT FORGET THE TRAPDOOR!

I actually just did a tree farm style build. I went with a jungle vibe with a hut built into the side of a ruined tower. I went for more of a disorganized natural vibe. This build looks really great too! I know it was annoying not using spruce but this turned out great. I for one hate using brick or oak for the most part and you did great using them together for this build. Also, tell your wife I checked out her channel too and I love her style! Can't wait to see more from both of you! 😊
@DoomWalker428 ай бұрын
Loving these new builds. Very detailed. And nice to see you use different blocks. If you want a completely lossless tree farming area you can plant trees on mud and blocks can be picked up directly through hoppers or mine carts beneath mud.

I think it would have been cool if you made a crane at the bottom of the hill to make it look like it was transporting the logs from the wear house to the lumber mill. I also think a logging truck, carts, and wheel barrow would have been a nice touch.

I love using spruce, too. But I also like using dark oak for my building frames. It's good to branch out and see what you can come up with. Acacia is also a great would type. I like gradients and use stripped crimson, stripped mangrove and stripped acacia for roofs. Warped is also fun to use, too. There are so many colors and textures that you could have fun with. You did brick and oak justice with your wood factory. I love to pair brick with smooth sandstone. And I like building with quartz and copper, among other blocks. Just have fun pairing together different colors. You don't have to forgo spruce. You build with it so much, you could easily use it to tie in other colors that you experiment with. Anyway, great job! This looked so cool. And don't forget the spruce trapdoor. (BTW, it killed me a little that you let it despawn. 😭)
