It's so awesome you took these seriously. The last time I really paid attention to audio of any kind was back in 1997/1998 when I was a car stereo installer at Circuit City. Can you imagine trying to explain to someone back then something like this? They're really incredible for what they are. Watching your channel has brought my attention back into maybe wanting to put together a modern system. Thank you for that.

Nice, I have two of them and did the same thing. I'm on my 6th box for them now I tried 4 ported boxes xover set to 30-100hz and running 50w to them they take it no problem. I will say that the last two sealed boxes blow away the ported ones I've made they not good in a ported enclosure they need the control, I found every ported box I made got louder and deeper bass when I blocked the ports so I went to sealed and now I'm just playing with size until I find the best size, they are louder and hit lower lows in the sealed boxes for sure. they might work out good in a bandpass box like the old school ones that have the two cones firing into a sealed center enclosure and the back sides are ported out through two round ports. as for the movement issue you are having, I think they are just a Knick knack hobby speaker and not built to exact specs you probably have more coil on one maybe try looking how they ohm out. as tweeters they scream lol. barevids did a good in-depth review on them in his boom or bust series.

@@TrillMurray no they're palm-sized amplifiers if you type in mini amplifiers on Google you'll get Brands like taramps or Kicker make some the dyno test them on Wilson audio labs and they are perfect for things like these they are just regular car amps but very small but they don't put out a lot of wattage but I think they would be perfect for these because they're dedicated to subwoofers woofers mids and tweeters what you can hook them up to a regular car stereo head unit just like a normal amplifier rather than a home stereo type amplifier they have crossovers in them

You made me plug in a set of in ear studio 3-way monitors to hear the speakers moving. Your left channel with whatever mic you're using has very slight crackle from time to time. Overall though, I never pulled out my in ears for a yt video before. I can definitely hear some of what the speakers are doing though. These little subs have been making their rounds on the you tubes lately. I think that the idea behind them is awesome. And the fact that they went so far into the design and making it as realistic for the 10th scale rc guys. I don't make my rc cars sound vehicles. I use them to jump cars and houses. And racing and drag racing. But still nice. And your demo is pretty good too. Never watched your channel before. I used to work for a number of shops in south florida. I did installs on a lot of systems and never would I have ever thought I would see such a life like representation for little cars. Imagine what an entire wall of these would sound like... I rather have my cheap Alpine TypeR 12s and 2kw. BUT, I still like em for some reason.

@BudgetBasshead- I just seen a video the other day, where a guy put 1 of these B2 Audio 2" woofers into a sealed/4th order enclosure. He went to a Db comp., & was able to put 130 Watts to 1 of these 2", @ 100 Hz! I ❤ how beastly these little 2" woofers look, thank you for this video. Oh, & he ran the 2" B2 woofer through dats, & got 106 Hz, i think before it was broke in. Your enclosure looks to have very good output between (70 Hz to 125 Hz). I wonder when these (4)- 2" B2 woofers get broke in, where they will peak @ Db wise, but probably somewhere between (86Hz to 106Hz). I would ❤️ to see you do a peak Db test, in a simulated small vehicle/area.

And for the price that's not bad at 174 to have a realistic sound system and a say 1/6 or 1/8 scale model RC vehicle hell yeah that's pretty cool... Me honestly I want to make a sound bar that goes across the bottom of my back window in the Honda del Sol and fill it with these... Maybe put about six in each one of my front doors that'd be cool as s***... Thanks for the video now you got my ideas flowing

I do think there should be a class of RC bass SPL metering, it would really give way to introducing future young bassheads to it, and join some parents and children together. I also believe it could be a great way to learn how to properly build tuned boxes since it is exponentially more difficult to accurately create good acoustically matched micro systems. 🔊🙉

When you connect drivers in series you sum their total wattage. If they can each handle 40 watts RMS, with 2 in series they have a new RMS of 80 watts. The impedance part you got right...

Yeah - you can see that one driver's compliance is less than the others. I wonder how often that happens between drivers and it's effect of multi-driver enclosures. Great video +1 subscriber!

This was a pretty cool video. I remember an SPL vehicle from way, WAY back in the day that did a wall of 5.25s. I'm thinking a legit SPL wall of as many of these as will fit/work with a respectable amp running free air for an SPL shootout against full size subs....

I'm curious how well this driver might pair with a sealed enclosure and a large passive radiator.

we need to see a qual t-Line enclosure. I did one for 4 8” subs. It was a big sacrifice in space. Very flat response. Didn’t play very low but the response was wide. I’m interested in your findings.
