Hi Blue. Another great video mate. I read a few comments and saw what you said about tutorials. Please ignore the trend against tutorials. I am sure that there are an extremely large amount of people out there who, like me, are eagerly waiting for the new series you have been talking about. It and all your medieval tutorials are absolutely amazing. Please bring them back. 🤞🙏🤞🙏

20:20 Something I like do that I haven’t seen anyone else do, is add a dead tree(s) (big) that’s being cut down add carts around it maybe use stone cutters in a wood chipper. Not everything NEEDS to be alive and green it helps adds to the non-spoken story that the place is actually looked after. (Yes I know people do the dead tree thing, but I haven’t seen anyone do the second part)

That church looks amazing. Never thought of making a wooden church before but i will definitevly try it or build one of those meeting houses that was common 200 years ago in the USA. Those buildings doubled as both church and community meeting places. For the area surronding the church i vote for a graveyard but to make it neat so that it is a little bit like a garden too.
@GracemarieJohnson2763
@GracemarieJohnson2763 2 жыл бұрын
Damn, that was quite the grind. I do not have the patience to build stuff that big, let alone in survival. For front of the church, make a graveyard with a garden around it. In front of the gravestones, put a candle or two in front of them as well as a flower, as if someone placed them there in remembrance of a loved one or pet that passed away.

The scenery is great for two castles in my opinion. I’d build a big, majestic, noble castle with a moat next to the lake for the lord of the lands. And I’d build a second one, an eerie one, thin and high, made out of dark stones like deepslate and blackstone in a creepy custom half-dead pine forest on one of the mountains as a home for an evil lord or vampire.
@BlueNerdMC

That's a cool idea Den, I didn't think about that but we could do two castles. That would actually be great because I love both spots for building so i think that would be cool, plus I love building castles =)

Usually, the castles used for military purpose were built on high mountains in order to see the ennemies coming. So the castle near the lake can't be a military castle, it should rather be a decorative castle.

@@BlueNerdMC my personal thoughts on why tutorials are low is because most of the MCers that do them are so awe inspiring that it's a little intimating but it's those follow along tutorials that help you learn tips and tricks to be brave enough to try your own builds and come up with your own style.

Congrats on 500k... so very very deserved. The church looks fantastic and those fields with the windmills and farm buildings are picturesque. I'd love to see the lake expanded and the castle built on that knoll surrounded by water. The views from the fields towards the castle would really look nice. But on the other hand you could put the castle anywhere and make it look like it was the perfect place for it. The whole town is really starting to take shape. Can't wait to see it more built up. It truly does look awesome and I'm continually amazed at how effortless you make building on this scale seem. I'm so envious of your talent. Great wok as always. Looking forward to the next episode!

Fantastic episode Blue, and gratz on 500k! I love the combination of action at the beginning of the video, and then the time-lapse build portion towards the end, combining what I think are the best aspects of your videos. Great as always!

I like the new buildings you added in the town. And the Church. That looks huge in comparison to other buildings in that town. One question. How do you come up with all the decorations because recently on my town (at this point "City") I've been lacking in ideas as to how i make each build look different and stand out. And as to what type to buildings to add in my town.If your wondering what style the city is, it's medieval. If you don't want to answer the question that's fine. But I hope you keep having fun expanding your town. And see how you would use the new blocks from 1.19

Thank you buddy, usually when I'm trying to find decorations or build ideas I look for images on google or pinterest. So if you are looking for medieval then try searching for medieval concept art usually you'll find loads of images and there's always lots of cool ideas for cities or towns. Searching real life images can be helpful to, in general when building I look for the shapes of buildings and use them to create my own build based on that shape. =)

The place is looking really pretty! The church needs a graveyard. As for the castle location, it should have a relatively easy path to the town. That said, both locations would be good from a view point. I built an entire Abbey in survival, recreated from archaeological evidence of Abbey Paulinzella in Germany. It was a lot of research to do.

That was a crazy great video there blue. I loved the little adventure first and getting geared up before visiting the end. Then killing the pesky dragon before looking for end cities. Those windmills are just off the chart great and where there are so makes sense. The church what can I say but “WOW” it looks fabulous. Do have a quick question on the fields. How do you know were to place the water spots because they look so uniform and exact with not too many but covers the field. Also keep using that progress bar doing the fast forward it is great and gives a good idea where you are in the build 😁. Finally a big congratulations on that 500k mark. Does not seem that long ago we were celebrating the 100k mark. As always keep up the fantastic work and can not wait for the next video 😁☕️

Thank you so much David, it was a lot of fun making this episode. For the fields i usually place the water every 9th block but I don't keep them in a straight line, i usually move over 1-3 blocks so that they sit diagonally. This makes crop fields look more natural and tends to hide the fact that there's a water spot there, I hope that makes sense buddy. I also place water under leaves around the edge when I can to help hide them when possible. It's been an amazing journey and I'm still a little shocked to see the channel reached 500k, never expected to ever reach to numbers and I'm so thankful for the amazing support =)

You should do a graveyard by the church, and have custom headstones with funny names for deceased villagers. I wish MC would let us do vertical stone slabs, those would make perfect headstones. Also, you have a lot of copper, so you should put some lightning rods on the taller points of the village, like the church steeple, and the top of your house.

What a grind this was. Just looking at the day cycle on that timelapse while building made me exhausted. Well done! I would say that the church needs some color; it's a bit monochromatic. Maybe some banners? As for the castle, would putting it on the hilltop be an issue with snow? If not, then having it be higher would be better.
