Following the construction of the create mod Guardian farm last episode, in todays video we build a giant oil tanker in minecraft create mod to transport the items back to the mainland and process them into Prismarine of varying sorts. We also add a working forklift!

If you want to make the large boat turn slower, you can add another set of wheels at the front so the spacing is more in line with the track instead of waiting for the back wheels to reach the turn first.

Since you have a forklift using the top of the stairs as a turning zone, you are going to need a safety barrier for pedestrians and dock workers. Signs as well warning that there is an active forklift at work.

I used to work for Lowe's and drive a forklift, and the forklift would actually be running in reverse primarily, as you can't see where you are going over the crate on the forks. For safety you would run in reverse as much as possible when you have a tall load so you can see where you are going

Let me explain some stuff about the paint of ships and a little extra, The red under the waterline is called Antifouling, its to make sea life not stick to said ship, The black hull above the waterline is really optional because you can paint it any color, but black is the usual color going back to when we fueled ships with coal burning boilers, Hulls were painted black in the 1900's to hide the coal soot on the hull, Today, you wont find any of that because coal burning ships are very few compared to diesel or oil burning ships. The boat you made is very flush in shape and very good, Give yourself a pat on the back ❤

Call the ship Prismare -Mare is a female horse, boats are usually she's and it's the workhorse that moves the prismarine back to docks -kind of sounds like nightmare, which i imagine the guardians think the whole farm is lol -it sounds cool :) Alternatively, Charon -after the boatman of the underworld from Greek mythology who ferries the souls of the dead across the waters of Hades for judgement

I agree with some of the comments mentioning 2 bogies on the oil tanker to make it more natural. Maybe you can have the tanker come in sideways? Also, moving the bogie of the forklift to the rear wheel will make it more realistic as that's it's turning wheel.

This is completely unrelated because you don’t have planes yet, but my dad told me that building taller than 100ft are required to have red flashing lights as an aviation precaution. Additionally I learned that buildings 300 ft tall are required to have red lights along the side of it. If you start building planes I think this would be a nice touch any tall buildings you build in your world.

When making a tanker, it’s really useful to give it 2 bogeys so it looks better when turning. I also really like making the track go up & down 1 block over a long distance so it feels like waves in the ocean.

For more detail i'd say add side lights on the ship. so at night when you look out into the bay you can see the ship lights. Side lights normally blink green and red

Stuff I remember from my forklift training is that if you can't see over the load, you should be driving backwards for the majority of the distance for safety reasons. It's also a good idea to have someone spotting you, both to make sure that you aren't about to hit anything/that the load is stable, and to keep bystanders away from the forklift. Barricades or roped off areas would be a good idea too.

The red bottom is anti-fouling paint, its made to discourage the attachment of sea life like barnacles and make it easier for any sea life that does attach to fall off

this may come in handy for future builds, there is a mod called ITEM ZOOM which basically lets you see a zoomed version of the block at the left side of your inventory so you dont have to place it to properly look at it

Did you know you can merge slots on the mechanical crafter? For the sea lanterns, you can merge the "plus" shape in the middle, and just insert items into one of the crafters, the merged crafters will then distribute the items :D

fun fact theres a mod that lets you build functioning blimps that works with the create mod so u can make fully flying blimps or boats that has physics infused into them to move oil and other stuff to other places i think it was called clockwork

for the tanker, you could make it so the ship gains speed once its moved away from port, since such tankers in real life can build up to a pretty decent speed. Also, it would be cool if you changed the rail a bit so it occasionally dips up or down by a block, to make it look like the ship is going up and down in waves.

Love the boat. A fun little detail would be to make the rail a block or two higher on the way out than the way back so that it looks like the boat is leaving the port empty and coming back full...this would require a whole lot more phantom rail though!

personally i'd lift the tanker up ~2 blocks or so (using a create piston or something, then reassembling) so that the red is visible above the water line, and add the little knobbly front section to the bottom of the ship that you see on tankers. would also line it up better with the dockside vertically imo

I think you should build the farms a bit smaller in the future after all you can always upgrade them if you do really need the items and building smaller would encourage you to use the side products of farms that are already running for a while justifying the need for those farms later on (since some of the farms are producing so much you wont even use those resources up unless you start using them in future farms to create other items). Not sure how you feel about this idea, but at the end of the series you could make a multiplayer server using this map where all the create stuff could be made not craftable so players have to buy items or mine by hand instead of making thier own farms. Most of your builds would be protected and the resources produced sold to players (to encourage this recipes that are player craftable could be made 10x more expensive while create recipes could be left the same since create item crafting would be disabled), perhaps the last farms use the items that are used as currency to produce something usefull that is in high demand (perhaps stuff that would be uncraftable / uncraftable without create aka jetpack potato cannon elytra, ench golden apple all those things could have farms made that would be player supplied from buying stuff at the shop you make at the end of the series) so unless people buy stuff those best items wont ever be available for purchase. Basically people buy stuff from the shop that is provided by the farms you have built till the end of the series to build thier own towns and stuff (ig farming could be made really slow too so food would have to be bought too). Farms that overproduce and laggy ones in general could be geared down to make it less laggy for many players (plus most of the farms have vaults full of those items so there wouldnt be a supply problem unless the server gets really popular). That sure would be a great end for the series when it reaches a point you want it to end. I guess there would be a lot of problems to make it work like i described it (making your builds steal proof, grief proof, logistics for the shops aka buying something using x item and ressuply), but it sure would be nice everyone using the trains for travel and buying resources for thier homes in shopping districts, trains ressuplying them every once in a while. If a resource ever runs out them travelling there to afk that farm. Well who knows perhaps you will take up this challange.
