How did you thread the rods for the 20'' gantry where it bolts in / cotter pins?

We had to drill the ends of the rods with a screw threading drill tap and then used the original bolts from the gantry. Then for the cotter pins we had to spin the rods while making a thin groove around the rod with a saw. For the driving gear and wheels I simply drilled a small hole for the set screws to go into.

There’s so many claw machine kits out there that I couldn’t find the exact link but if you search “claw machine kit” you’ll get plenty of good quality kits. A good kit should cost anywhere from $200-$350 after shipping. I believe the kit I used was $225 with shipping included.

You should look on Ebay.com you can also check Facebook marketplace.com. These are the best websites to buy used claw machines. I got my Elaut claw machine from Facebook marketplace. Most people sell claw machines for very cheap since they don’t know how much money they are really worth. I got my elaut claw machine for $225 US dollars or 185 Euro. I built the other 3 claw machines that I own, which is also a good option to consider. I built each claw machine for around $800 with a kit. The best part of building your own claw machine is that you get to choose what it looks like and the size of the machine.

The hardware to do that is usually sold in kits from alibaba. They do sell kits for full size online cranes so maybe you could try asking the seller to buy the board which allows the machine to be played over the internet

Yes it is! It used to be a Watchbox crane with a magnet and metal stairs inside it to hold the magnetic cases but I removed that and turned it into a claw machine using a kit

Very few machines have the ability to turn off the background music and this one doesn’t have that feature.

There should be a setting that tells it which corner of the machine the prize chute is at. It spends on what kit you bought

If you have the same kit as my tropical toys machine then it will be setting #7. This will allow you to change the chute location to the back left or front left position

Check the string and make sure it’s coming from the right side of the wheel. The string should come from the right side of the pully system.

Here’s how I made it. I bought some sheets of plywood and I cut them to size. Then I bought a claw machine kit on AliExpress with all the real electronics included in it. Then I bought some acrylic for the windows. I have a video on building my first claw machine but the rest I didn’t make videos on building since they were basically the same process. Yeah I like all the features this board has, they make newer ones with the lcd screen to control the settings now which I prefer. This is one of the more budget friendly board models too so it was a great deal

You can hook up a dollar bill validator if it’s 12v but they didn’t make it compatible with 125v bill validators

For location the quality of the ra crane kit is slightly better however the Chinese kit from AliExpress has far more features that you would like! They are both great kits in their own ways.

This one it’s 24” by 24” and it is about 65 inches tall! The prize shelf is about a foot below the roof but you can make it any height you want

The volume is not adjustable without a potentiometer knob, this kit didn’t include a volume knob however you can add one. The free play button can be added using the second pair of coin mechanism wires

I wouldn’t recommend doing it. You can flip the switch in the coin mechanism to add credits though!

If you can find a modern machine that’s being sold for under $1000 on eBay or Facebook marketplace then you should buy a used one. If you can’t find one then building one might cost between $600 and $1000

Awesome machine! The board you used has some odd quirks lol. The music is all stolen from other companies (hawaii five o from Guan Shing, the attract music from WMH, the drop sound from WMH etc) and it seems to play the attract too early. Seems like it has some interesting features though!

Yeah, it definitely has a lot of nice features but also some weird things too. The up and down sound doesn’t happen when it’s payout which is also very odd.

There are no kits under $100 because there are shipping costs too. The tropical toys kit came from China and it was $75 but after shipping costs it was a total of $225
