I thought about that too! I debated buying a bunch of tubes, but decided to keep it all paper/cardboard instead. It would be cool, though.

Really good idea. That should work. Cut down the side and roll them up tightly. Add some glue to hold it shut.

will the same template work for my left hand? i printed out 2 of this template and im starting to realize it might not work like that

Yes and no. The fingers and the part for your arm with all the tubes will work. But the pieces for the hand won't work as-is. Cut those template pieces out, flip them over, tape them down, and then cut them out so it'll fit your thumb.
