Careful with all that storage on your contraption, last i heard, there is a memory limit for metadata on items (aka when you pick up contraptions) and going over it can cause your world to permanently crash.

yeah this makes me nervous, i play on a create server with friends so putting more than 6 double chests on a contraption make me worry about lag or worse corruption

@@pugothing There is also mod called FTB Backups 2 that can do automatic backups with set intervals. I would recommend using that for both single-player and multiplayer worlds.

Actually a good point. If he fills all the storage on that ship up and then picks it up he will basically be picking up a nuke mid detonation.

If you ad valkrien skies and eureka you can move the airship as a vehicle, and the create stuff works on it(may have to replace the blocks to make them work

Also create mod machines don't work at all on airships, or at least to a certain degree. Basically, anything with dynamic movement (not blocks like cogs or millstones) disappears on the ship. And of course, anything wireless doesn't work either.

Just as an idea - I see you're using sleeping bags from Comforts - you should consider using a hammock from the same mod in your airship to prevent it from resetting your spawn every time you move the airship

Hey Beardy just wondering if could consider moving the ladders to the side of the airship instead of the bottom so it fits more correctly and just another suggestion you could add a giant vault inside the balloon for when you clear areas and what not. Just some suggestions. Love your content its so relaxing to watch.

I have another suggestion, in my opinion the end of the propeller looks weird, for the sides you used wood slabs but in the end you changed for wool and I find it kinda weird, like it wasn’t finished. But anyways great serie, I love it and peace to the capucin monkey 😢

Hey, im gona suggest putting a rope pulley, for a simple elevator, that can be remote controled through the remote control, if you also would like to make it look more steampunky, maybe add some kind of "Side Engine's" you could also use this to hide the rope pulley entrance, and oxidized copper could also look good with the warped wood

Ive heard that you have to be really careful about how much data your saved contraptions used, i think it can either corrupt your save or crash your game if you have a contraption with tons and tons of data like lots of stored items on it. Maybe this is no longer the case but i remember reading this when first starting with create. Also i saw that coming at the end lol. First thing i would have done was to run away and make the monkey wait rather than having it on your shoulders NEAR LAVA haha.

In the future when working on projects like this, you might try making the interior first and building the facade around it. That way you don’t have to try and squeeze everything in, you can have exactly as much space as you need for what you want to have and the rest comes second to fit that. I learned about this technique mostly from Ethoslab, who uses it a lot. He fits the exteriors of his build to the function of the inside. Form from function rather then the opposite.

For the airship, you could make more room in the storage area by changing the drawers to frame and making them the walls by applying the chosen block as the exterior of the drawers.

Oh no! The poor monkey! I was just getting attached to him! It would be cool if the airship could actually fly, but since you can already fly, that probably counts. It can definitely make it from point A to point B no problem. (If you get another monkey, can I recommend the name Braeburn? Like the apple, to keep with food themed animals. If another unfortunate accident happens, there's dozens of apple varieties to choose from!)

There is a create mod for create that adds airships that you can drive if you need/want to so you could drive it to lots of different places.

If you add a mod called "Valkyrien Skies" you can make that into an actual functioning airship, with a ship's helm and air balloons. just need to replace a few blocks and it'd work perfectly.

Build a passenger tower like the real world zeppelins used. It would fit the industrial aesthetic nicely, be an amazing landmark, and would be a great and on theme place to park your airship in your bases

Not sure you’ll see this or not, I’ve been busy but the little time I get to even play some create Minecraft or begin to understand it to the level you are is few and far between. With what little time I have I try to watch these videos, from the building style to the montages perfectly timed to the best of the Music, makes both my little child heart and mind happy! These small things don’t go unnoticed! Thanks for all the time and effort you put into these episodes, usually these are my comfort videos when stressed out with things. While the Monkey is a cool idea for a mascot my personal mascot is that random Fly that always shows up in every video, never know when he's going to show up and it's always nice to see him bumble across the screen for a few seconds. An idea: create a dock in your main storage warehouse specifically for the airship. Not only would this look cool, but it could also be hooked up to things like pipes and weighted ejectors to automate the packing and unpacking of whatever is in the airship's storage.

There is an airship mod that lets you build an airship that will move and it has a helm, blocks that look like white wool that keeps it floating, and engines that give it power to move forward and other blocks it's a pretty cool mod in my opinion.

Hey, Love your content; I don't know if you will ever read this, but if you ever focus on a villager breeder, you could have 2 trains that are dedicated to carrying villagers from the breeders that can circle around all locations and bring the villagers in. The trains can be based on the Hogwarts Express and in the Chronicles of Narnia series ('GWR 7800 Class 7802 Bradley Manor' and the 'GWR 4900 Class 5972 Olton Hall' - if you want the models) and have these be driven by passive pillagers. Pillagers will look quite the train driver/pilot or whatever they are called across different countries.

I can fully recomend the mod Valkyrien Skies since it meshes quite well with create and you can make your airship actually able to fly. (and create contrations still work when on an airship)

Hey Beard, just a tip and to let you know when it comes to building for windmills and create, you can actually just use wool and skip the sails all together, you just have to super glue all the wool to the windmill barring and it should work! I also think that you can use 2 and a half or 3 and a half stacks of wool to make a max windmill for temp power! Keep up the amazing content i cant wait to see what this series brings next!! ❤

I know it’s a lot but hear me out You should build a self sufficient train like something from snow piercer that can build and place track for itself (with materials being supplied) an automated crop farm (animals don’t stay in place unless they’re in seats i believe) and maybe even a mini workshop with essential machines and a steam engine 😂 I know it’s far fetched and stupid BUT if you ever get low on ideas just remember this comment 😂❤ also love the vids keep up the AMAZING work lol ❤

Amazing video ones again! The airship looks amazing, maybe you can make a rescue boat on the side that goes up and down instead of a ladder to finish the amazing look. Btw wool blocks work the same as sails on a windmill, so you don't need to sail on there if you already have wool blocks.

You can actually transform the airship into a working flying machine (a proper one, that can move back and forth, up and down and rotate), although that would require a power source and a lot of create and redstone magic
