Since the beginning of time, Minecrafters have been making spawner XP farms. Usually they're just a little hole in the ground, but in our quest to build a world we feel connected to, we're TRANSFORMING our simple little XP farm into a secret dungeon beneath my house!

Fun fact, because of how trapdoors work, that yellow sheep and pig in the rosebushes are gonna stay there forever. Basically, mobs see the inner side of the trapdoor as something they can pathfind over, but not the outside of the trapdoor, and won't walk over it. Edit: It's also why Butterscotch (my name suggestion for the dog) walked into the cacti, even though they were raised up.

FYI, light leaks through doors, so the door on your spawner decreases itxs efficiancy. You might not mind or care, just wanted to let you know. When you have the resources, definitely consider cracked stone bricks, cracked deepslate bricks, mossy bricks, and mossy cobblestone in the walls. I would go and extra step with some waterlogged stairs in the ceiling to add occasional water drips. Agree with another comment about the soul lanterns, definitely would make it more spooky. Lastly, for lore, a table and lecture like someome is taking notes and research would be cool. Awesome video as always! Hope you keep the series slow and steady!

That dungeon looks so cool, and the maze aspect of it is really nice! I think the door bleeds a little light into the spawner, so you could try dimming the light more, maybe just use candles, which will also give it a much darker and sinister vibe, and since you used slabs for the floor, you don't have to worry for mobs. I love your videos a lot!

It probably doesn't matter much since you have Looting III, but the light bleeding through the spruce door into the Skeleton Spawner chamber will prevent some of the Spawner's attempts. I like what someone else said suggesting Soul Lanterns. If the light level is 2 in front of the door, it'll be 1 within the door block itself and 0 inside the entire farm. I don't think the block the door occupies needs to be lit at all, though.

I don't think dungeon spawners need light level 0, I think they still need level 7 or below. He could also move the door to the spawner room since it's not something you often really need to access.

That’d be real expensive, not only do you need channeling but in my experience skeleton skulls are the hardest to get from charged creeper. I guess they spawn naturally, but somehow I think that taking on the warden is episode 30 material

Honestly I'd be all for naming the dog WoofWoof or BorkBork. Just seems funny to me XD If your graveyard ever fills up, you could use your new build as actual catacombs and "bury" yourself in the depths. You could even have some really ruined/spooky sections for some really noteworthy (or gruesome) deaths in the series. I also like the idea of a cult living in your basement (I'd call them the StewStew Crew or something) Really looking forward to the next video!

You inspired me to make a dungeon with my double spawner you are good at making “history/ story” in your world which is cool in addition, I think adding moss and mossy cobble stone or mossy stone bricks in the dungeon will make it more old and rotted

Hey there! For your mighty kow killing blade, you could put fire aspect on it. While it may not be very humane, all animals killed drop the cooked version of their meat if they die by fire. That could save you tons of time! Hope this helps :D

I have a few ideas for the doggo’s name : - Dandelion I think in another episode you said that you liked them (I think?). Plus it would look good with the collar. - Floof So when this guy will have his armour you could call him your little Defensive Floof - Fluff Variant of Floof -GoldenSnow Perhaps when there will be variants of the dog this name will reflect the colour of their fur and of their collar. You could name the dog "Sparky" because he has a yellow collar and yellow = electricity. Also, I think it would look cool if you hung skeleton mob heads on some of the chains or put them on a shelve in the mob spawner room.

Soverest , nicknamed Sove. for the dog. what would have been cool is just item frames one one wall with different bows from skellies. Maybe one of the rooms can be arrow storage. in the main room , some candles atop floating trapdoors. and hanging chains but the latern placed on the floor with iron nuggets around , which seems like the lantern fell off.

I love using Cobwebs 🕸 You can literally put one or two on almost any build, especially in ceiling corners I have even used invisible Armour Stands with a Spider's Eye and Spider Heads to add to the Cobweb's effect (But you gotta be close to see that lil detail Haha)
