These are some useful tips for the the nest episode: - (Please like so that Josh can see it) 1. Gold can be used to craft golden apples and golden carrots (carrot/apple in the middle and gold ingots surrounding it) 2. You can replace all the normal furnaces with blast furnaces and smokers. 3. You can place chests on the top part. Just take out the roof of that part and replace it with slabs. (Make sure to put the slabs on the top part of the block. Chests think that there is no block. This way your floor of the top floor will look like a floor and you can also access the chests at the same time.) 4. Throw the bottle o' enchanting on the floor for more XP. 5. Make another diamond pickaxe and try to get fortune on it. Fortune increases the chance of getting more ores per mine. Fortune III is the best fortune and worst one is Fortune I. 6. Get fire aspect II on the sword. This way you can get the cooked meat from the animals you kill. Like cooked porkchop, cooked etc. 7. Whenever you want to enchant something, wait till you are more than level 30 in terms of XP. 8. Smelting coal will get you 1 coal per ore, whereas using fortune pickaxe can get you 2 to 3 pieces and rarely 4 coal per ore. 9. Expand the storage room more by placing more chests and make as much items as possible so that you don't have to craft and mine everything. You can just simply find them in the chests. Sorry for such a long comment. Had to be done so that everyone can enjoy a much better gameplay of Minecraft. With the help of you Josh, Minecraft is slowly coming back. Even Pewdiepie has also started playing and I am sure other gamers like Jacksepticeye, Markiplier, Jelly and others can also play it and revive the old days back again. Ok, info from this episode. 1. Please eat more, just keep your hunger full whenever you can. 24/7. You have enough food now to do that. 2. Do a farm expansion video, more. If you get a few hundred cows then you can get tonnes of steak and leather. 3. You need to put the bookshelves only 2 high. You have done it correctly if the bottom most enchant requires level 30. THIS IS IMPORTANT 4. You want Protection IV and unbreaking III on armor, Sharpness V is good overall, smite V is better than sharpness again UNDEAD MOBS (you can't have both). Flame/Fire Aspect is always good. You want power V on your bows and efficiency IV on your picks. 5. Other good enchants: Depth Strider/Feather falling on boots (walk on water fast and take less fall damage). Respiration lets you breath underwater for longer, aqua affinity lets you mine underwater with no reduction in speed (try it, its a lot slower without). YOu can use doors to make airpockets underwater. Infinity on bows lets you have unlimited arrows as long as you have at least 1 in your inventory. Fortune on picks means you have a chance of getting extra drops. e.g. if you mine a diamond ore with a fortune pick you might get 2-3 diamonds instead of just the 1. Fortune III is what you want. Since you have silk touch, it is used to get the ore itself. So if you get a Fortune pick then you can silk touch diamond and come home and use fortune, this way you won't risk losing your fortune pick. 6. How enchanting works, a short guide: When you place an item you get 3 enchant options. Ideally you want the Level 30 enchant to be Sharp V or Efficiency IV or whatever. If you don't get the enchant you want then you can "burn" an enchant. Basically if you place a pickaxe, no matter what type, you will get the same options until you want to enchant it. So check as many items as you have to enchant and use the best one. If nothing is good, then use a book and burn a level 1 enchant or any that is low level but still useful "sharpness I or unbreaking I etc." You now get a new set of options for every item. After you finish your level 30 enchants, you an use your xp to enchant books, try getting a tonne of unbreaking or low level of any enchant you're struggling to get. Then combine 2 of the same kind in an anvil to level them up - 2 Unbreaking I books can make 1 unbreaking II book. You can then apply these to whatever Item you want.

Josh don't waste your coal smelting ores that you mined using silk touch. Just place them down and use a pickaxe without silk touch to mine it and get the coal/diamonds/lapis/redstone

You should go out and capture many different species of animals such as polar bears, turtles, dolphins, alpaca’s, ocelots, basically as much as u can and have a nice little collection of pets. Also, tame a wolf to make it your pet dog!!!!

Some pointers... (If you'll have them) 1. Make another tunnel on the left coming out of your base to make a walk way instead of stairs or digging it all out and put a fence door to stop monsters in. Also saves you putting the fences down again, PLEASE FINISH PUTTING FENCES AROUND YOUR BASE! 2. Make a fishing dock on the little pond at the back. 3. Make a kitchen (to clean up the entrance of your house) in your old bedroom (expand obviously) and make the glass thinner like the stone slabs (makes them look nicer - they have some in the villages) 4. Get a pet Dog to help you hunt for stuffs and get a cat if you want (not a fan of cats myself). 5. MAKE CARPET for the farms and your house (entrance and bedroom) = in the bedroom it will add effect and not make it look so dull (sorry not sorry). 6. I read in the comments a while ago to give a dolphin food (can't remember what) and they will help you find treasure - and your iron body guard = you have to put a leash on him so he doesn't wonder. 7. Plant a cactus to use as a bin. (throw items at it). 8.Plant trees (with sapling) around your base... Not to many! I'd suggest one between the stable and the little staircase and one to the right of the farms and a couple wherever you like LOL. 9.Make the third floor... Carrying on the stairs from where they are. make a wall with the leaves you gathered (and aren't using) where it opens up to your balcony. 10. Please get some pigs and chickens! I just want to say thank you for this series I know you're enjoying it and so are we! Please try and make longer episodes (preferably building ones) and LIVE STREAM!! - We know you're a busy person, but please try! Again loving the series! Get Vik, Tobi and Simon on it! The water/pool next to the farm, you should dig out one layer at the bottom and replace the floor with glowstone blocks (glowie blocks from the nether), at night the pool Will light up and give a nice touch to the area! And to if you want you can surround the edges of the pool with nether quartz blocks instead of just having dirt and stone around it

1) you should make a tree farm. All you need to do is make a controlled area where there is a bit of water and plant trees around it. 2) if you hold the bottle of enchanting in your hand and right click as if you're going to drink it, you will receive some experience 3) you should build another nether portal in the nether quite a way away and then if you go through it, you'll end up somewhere different on the real map. Once you're there you can build a whole new house and explore. 4) You can use the brewing stand to make different potions using certain recipes. You'll be able to find every recipe on the internet ( that would be a while video in itself because there are so many potions and you need blaze powder for all of them). 5) I really hope you see this cuz this will help alot hopefully.

Build high up with gravel after that jump down but make a pool then after that go and destroy the first block of the gravel and place a torch fast and they will fall down and give you flint, not all of them but if you keep placing them up and then doing that with your torch then you can get the flint it doesn't give it always but don't worry it will do it sometime

you can build: - a mob farm - a sugar cane farm - a automatic food farm - a simple automatic cow/sheep farm - a slime farm - a iron farm - a god set of armor/sword - a piston door - a bin with lava in the floor and a slab 2 blocks above at the bottom of that block so you can throw away useless stuff - a guardian farm so you can easily make sea lanterns (but first you will have to go hunting for them and its a bit advanced to make)

Things you could do: *Make your water source into a well (the water only needs to be 2x2). *Explore a woodland mansion. *Make houses near your base and move in villagers with good trades. *Collab with other youtubers. *Get more sheep and dye them every colour. *Make more blast furnaces and smokers. *Hunt for cats and dogs to help protect you.

How about making a house on top of the mountain? A house surrounded by planted trees, with a waterfall "ladder" up and down from the side, with a pathway leading down to the farm. Then you can keep your base as a base, but you also have a house on top with more space for other materials, and keep the blocks downstairs. :)

one suggestion for the stable, maybe decorate it a bit? throw some flowers around it, hay bales, a barrel or two, leaves. also, maybe fix that one little bit of stone brick, that part of the stable building, where it connects to the roof, i'd suggest replacing it with spruce to smooth it out

Josh needs to start a series with at least someone (preferably from the sidemen)! It's probably not going to happen with vikk because of his contracts with cosmic but Simon expressed some interest in playing minecraft, so he's the most likely to do it at the minute. Love this series but I think we would all like to see some sort of multiplayer minecraft to upload every second day along with this series on the other days! It doesn't even have to be with someone from the sidemen but I think it should be someone who isn't great at minecraft because it makes for a better series, (especially when it's on the regular, vanilla version of the game).

Josh, Silk touch is such a rare enchantment you don't want to lose it. So when your diamond pickaxe gets low on durability, make a second, new diamond pickaxe, put it in the anvil, and it will repair the pickaxe and keep the enchantment. Also, sidenote, you should try and enchant a book to get unbreaking so you can apply that onto the pickaxe via anvil.

Automatic farms:Use observers and pistons to automate melon, pumpkin, sugar cane and bamboo ( can be use as fuel) with use of hoppers to collect items. Furnace system: use chest, hoopers and furnaces so you can dump ores ((gold and iron) into chest and they will automatically get smelted and put into chests. Also with the blast furnace you can smelt unwanted gold/iron items (swords) into nuggets. Storage systems: use of chests hopper and red stone to automatically sort items for you. Need 3 hoppers, 3 red stone dust, 1 red stone torch, 1 repeater and 1 comparator per item you want sorted. youtube how to set it up. Mobspawner/xp farm: I found having a pigman farm in the nether gets you loads of xp and gold swords/ nuggets

You may find that you cant place some blocks on other blocks (for example blocks where you usually right click to interact w/ them). To get around that just hold shift while right clicking! This would be useful for putting signs or item frames on your chests to label them.

GOOD EPISODE IDEAS: - plz read -fix farm up/get bigs, chicken and sheep -use silk touch pick to pick up spawners -get vik on to help automate farm and create xp farm -finish fence around ur house and tame wolves -live episode -create more iron golems and snowmen inside ur fance (tip create fence around snowman before building them so the dont leave snow everywhere and show the r used for defence) -create nemo head on top of mountain (use dyed cement or dyed clay not wool for building) -explore a nether fortress and get nether wart and soul sand for potions -strip mine in extreme hills (biome) for dimonds and emeralds -make trades with villages/bring villagers back home -create and finish more decorations in house and make it more appealing e.g. carpet, pot plants ect. -explore jungle and tame cats and parrot, find jungle temple and get cocoa beans -find bamboo jungle -explore ocean and find a sea temple -find woodland mansion -find, tame and or bring back other animals in minecraft back home e.g. fox, rabbit, panda, llamas ect (look up animals in game) and can u please look something up on google if u dont know what it is or or what to do and get vik to help u for such things as enchantments, potions, taming animals, defeating things ect.

You should build something out of brick, its made out of clay, you cook clay to get brick, and with a recipe of 2x2 of bricks, you get a brick block
