Since you dont really know some enchants Swords Sharpness-goes to level 5(V) it is used on swords and increases the damage dealt on every enemy Smite - goes to level 5 it increases the damage dealt to undead mobs (zombies, skeletons) Fire aspekt-goes to level 2 gives a fire effect on the mob you are hitting Knockback- goes to level 2 knocks enemies further away after being hit Unbreaking-goes to level 3 can be put on everything tools, armor last longer Bane of arthorpods-goes to level 5 it increases the damage dealt to spiders, cave spiders etc Looting-goes to level 3 when an enemy or an animal is killed they will drop more loot Pick enchants Efficiency-goes to level 5 dramatically increases mining speed of the Pick (also can be put on axes and shovels) Fortune - goes to level 3 gives a chance for ores like emerald or diamond to drop more of each when mined (one of most important enchants) Silk touch - gives the ability to mine blocks such as stone and you get a stone block and not cobblestone, when glass is mined with Silk touch iz does not break but drops like a block it also works on ores that dont drop like ores (coal, dmd, emerald) can be used to get grass blocks instead of dirt(can be put on Pick, shovel, axe and shears)

Fix the fence. I would recommend a spider proof fence. Its built like this: Top layer - SLABS Middle layer - FENCE Bottom layer - BLOCK (any kind of block) So its 3 blocks tall, it has to be built on a flat surface, so it cant go uphill or downhill. Also light up your whole area a lot, like A LOT. Keep your iron golem in front of the iron doors, or the other side of thr tunnel, light that area up A LOT as well.

There are multiple dark spots in your house/tunnel. If you press F3 you can find a row for "client light". If that level is under 7, mobs can spawn

Ok, info from this episode. 1. Please eat more, just keep your hunger full whenever you can. 24/7. You have enough food now to do that. 2. Do a farm expansion video, more. If you get a few hundred cows then you can get tonnes of steak and leather. 3. You need to put the bookshelves only 2 high. You have done it correctly if the bottom most enchant requires level 30. THIS IS IMPORTANT 4. You want Protection IV and unbreaking III on armor, Sharpness V is good overall, smite V is better than sharpness again UNDEAD MOBS (you can't have both). Flame/Fire Aspect is always good. You want power V on your bows and efficiency IV on your picks. 5. Other good enchants: Depth Strider/Feather falling on boots (walk on water fast and take less fall damage). Respiration lets you breath underwater for longer, aqua affinity lets you mine underwater with no reduction in speed (try it, its a lot slower without). YOu can use doors to make airpockets underwater. Infinity on bows lets you have unlimited arrows as long as you have at least 1 in your inventory. Fortune on picks means you have a chance of getting extra drops. e.g. if you mine a diamond ore with a fortune pick you might get 2-3 diamonds instead of just the 1. Fortune III is what you want. Since you have silk touch, it is used to get the ore itself. So if you get a Fortune pick then you can silk touch diamond and come home and use fortune, this way you won't risk losing your fortune pick. 6. How enchanting works, a short guide: When you place an item you get 3 enchant options. Ideally you want the Level 30 enchant to be Sharp V or Efficiency IV or whatever. If you don't get the enchant you want then you can "burn" an enchant. Basically if you place a pickaxe, no matter what type, you will get the same options until you want to enchant it. So check as many items as you have to enchant and use the best one. If nothing is good, then use a book and burn a level 1 enchant or any that is low level but still useful "sharpness I or unbreaking I etc." You now get a new set of options for every item. After you finish your level 30 enchants, you an use your xp to enchant books, try getting a tonne of unbreaking or low level of any enchant you're struggling to get. Then combine 2 of the same kind in an anvil to level them up - 2 Unbreaking I books can make 1 unbreaking II book. You can then apply these to whatever Item you want.

Josh best way to get xp is to go to the nether and mine all thr quartz plus its a nice block, you can also make a xp farm with the spawners you found, i recommend you make the farm (watch a tutorial) and mine quartz till you get to lvl 50 so you can have top tier enchatments on your armor and tools. Btw i beg you play with vikk and simon, vikk always plays minecraft and simon said he wants to play minecraft, you can play with tobi too since he will probably do it because he plays alot of games. If you make it a series with you 4 it would be amazing content and views, if it'll happen make episodes when all 4 are in it not episodes where theres like only 1 (just anything more than one would be great) on the server. Love this series.

Protection is ALWAYS the best armour enchant as it does everything that blast protection, projectile protection, and fire protection do but does not negate you from getting anything else. If you were to get fire protection for example, you can no longer put any of the other forms of protection on that item. There is also an op enchant called mending that you will want much later, so dont worry about it too much now, but if you stumble on a book or item that has mending hold onto it

One thing I do that I would recommend is to build a cobblestone house/base around your nether portal in the nether. That way once you get there your safe in case a ghast is there or you just need safety. I like to put chests and store it with stuff I might need and I also put windows to know if the coast is clear.

Josh you have to name a nametag in the anvil, (you put it in and in the top spot where it says "name tag" in a box you click on that and change it to the name you want, e.g. pete). Then you click the horse While holding the nametag. Edit: You can also name any item (without a name tag) by putting it in the anvil and doing the same as what you did with the name tag.

Things to do for future episodes: - Learn to make potions (no, a bottle of enchanting does not go there). There's a lot to explain so I would suggest getting Vik to help with that. - Learn to use Redstone. Again, lots to explain and I would suggest getting Vik to help you with the basics first. - Make a stable and name your horse - put the nametag in the anvil and 'rename' it to what you want to name the horse (you'll need levels). - Fix your chest room - for the love of God, it looks so bad 😂 - Fight the wither! You need to fight (lots) of wither skeletons which you find in Nether fortresses (naturally spawning structures in the Nether) to get wither skulls. Three wither skills on a 'T' of soul sand (like how you made the iron golem) and you'll make a Wither. Make sure to build this FAR away from your base as it flies and causes a lot of damage to the area. There's a lot more to do and I haven't been up to date with Minecraft stuff so maybe people want to correct me or add more! Love how much you're enjoying the game though 😂

When you make the stables for the horse leave some room spare so you can put your other animals (like a wolf) in there as well. Also look into piston doors. You can use them to stop mobs getting into places without using actual doors

- If you want to replace the enchanted gear you lost when you cleared your inventory, you can give yourself the books with those enchants in Creative mode, and then add them to the relevant gear with the anvil - If the blast from a ghast hits the Nether portal, it won't destroy the obsidian, but it will close the portal. I'd recommend placing a chest in the Nether near the portal and putting some flint and steel in it, just in case you have to reopen the portal

Suggestion: Josh you can craft quartz blocks out of the nether quartz to make a nice interior of your house

Place vines on a ledge and leave them, they drape down to hang by themselves over time, try spreading out food and ores over multiple furnaces for faster smelting, make sure there’s no blocks the same level as the fence as mobs can walk straight over it, nether quartz can be crafted into crops and is great for xp, enchant before using the anvil to apply extra as once there is an enchantment on the item, you can’t re-enchant - hope this helps! :)

Build high up with gravel after that jump down but make a pool then after that go and destroy the first block of the gravel and place a torch fast and they will fall down and give you flint, not all of them but if you keep placing them up and then doing that with your torch then you can get the flint it doesn't give it always but don't worry it will do it sometime
