I Built a Track That's IMPOSSIBLE to Shortcut!

Welcome back to Zeepkist and today I'm building a track that's impossible to cheat! As we all know, people LOVE to cheese my tracks so this time I decided enough is enough! I imagine that 3:02 time was someone who was approaching the finish line and saw that he was only on Checkpoint 98 and thought "Oh crap...which one did I miss!"

The best part of this track is that feeling of confusion you get when you reach the finish and just go through it because you somehow have 99/100 checkpoints.

Now imagine how annoying it would have been if you hid one of the checkpoints so that if you took the normal line you would end up with 99/100 and you had to hunt for that last one

Wonder if there's an alternate routing though. Instead of yeeting out of the 2nd loop you hang left and take the rest of the track in reverse.

@@GummieI The finish is under an angled checkpoint, ride up it and try to jump through. Don't know if you would have the speed or angle to be able to do it.

Make a complete track out of checkpoints like the first part. The splits will be a perfect indicator to train optimizing your lines…

I actually recamended this idea a while back, don't imagine that's where he got it from though I thought the track would be a little less interesting but you found a way to make it look really good

Its cool how the constantly updating splits reveals every little gain/loss so you can find the optimal line and see if you come out ahead or not. It also shows how important it is to carry the speed in this game and you very quickly loses time after a tiny mistake.

I'd love to see what the track looks like if you don't switch out of 1st person view until after exiting the tube with the CP spiral inside it... I think that part would flow better and the part coming out of the jump before it should also be fine, you just have to stabilize your Zeep and it will fix the camera before you land. 😁👍

So I've just recently bought the game and started building tracks. Could you do a video on tips and tricks for track building? So far out of the group you're the favorite for me for track builds.

My biggest tip is to start off about 50% higher up than you think you should. It leaves room for dips in the track, room under the "ground" to hide parts of objects under, and having more height means you can give the player steeper downhills to regain speed if you want a faster track.
