The sound doesn't tell you where the shiny is though, so realistically I don't know how much of a difference that specifically makes. Atleast with this game when the noise sounds he is already in position to throw the ball.

I actually made a couple scripts that shiny hunt in ruby/sapphire with a friend this year with a friend. It could do random encounters and legendary resets. I haven't had time to cover it in a youtube video but I'm pretty sure nobody has done our full method before. I even transfered the mon all the way from a gba emulator to pokemon home legally

Pokemon but... idea Idea: Pokémon Among US - Every person chooses 1 out of 3 mons 5 times (normal moves, normal abilities) - for the 6th Pokémon, you can choose anything - this Mon will be the imposter - the imposter has all 4 moves that are illegal (moves it cannot learn, moves that this Pokémon can learn in any form are not allowed) and an illegal ability (any ability that this Pokémon can learn throughout its evolution is not allowed) - the goal of the game is to guess the imposter of opposing team; every person gets 1 guess; if you guess correct you win; they can guess at any time in the game and must include a correct explanation - if your guess incorrect, the opponent gets one forced switch (opponent can force you to switch) - if both players guess and fail, battle will continue as it usually does with both players having 1 switch - the first player to reach 2 Mons left, have to guess. If they fail, game continues, If they guess, they win - the aim of the game is to test every players Pokémon knowledge Strategy - players can make all their Pokémon dubious to confuse the opponent into choosing your dubious made Mon (throwing them off the scent) - Players can try to hide their imposter within normal Mons by making Imposter as normal (to look) as possible - Players can mix up both above strategies, have stall strategies, initiative starts etc. - There are 5 special Strategies to have great chances - There are 2 strategies that guarantee win (Hint: it hinges on the game with a mechanic called System Critic and ...; try to find it)
