I'm fairly sure you can put a gate across the road, as the two points that touch the ground are wider than the dirt pathway. I saw some guys do this with Sulfur quarry.

Ya know, might as well answer why I watch: Its a mix of the music and the vibes. It's really easy to listen to the story of whatever adventure you're on play out while I work, every abush, every node, every wall built. All with little bits of action to keep it vivid. Natural action, because who knows what players will do this time. All with the comfort of base building and resource gathering, the sort of games I normally play when I'm off. So thanks! hey willjum i know you probubly wont see this but a good thing to know is if you place a blue flashing light on the top of a external door to a compound it will prevent someone placing twig for a ladder to get over your metal spikes you want to put it on the very top of a wall or door where the roof meets the wall/door so you can smelt in peace mostly, also works on external tc for no build-up

Those freaking crispy gingers got me so mad! I was full of loot from taking Brad and almost back to base and saw the cute lil house. I figured it was like the Halloween portals with a few npc's... Those dang delicious buggers take 4 headshots to take down! I was not prepared for the pair of gingers with automatic weapons working together to surround me so I couldn't heal... I died running for the exit. I figured I would go back in to grab my loot but when I entered, the Rads were so high I almost died before escaping without my loot. I won't lie, I rage quit that day, first time ever. The rest of the wipe, I hunted down them gingers and wiped them out and sometimes got some sweet loot from the large presents. The npc's are only going to get better, even the road scientists now push you where before they would take cover.

Pro Tip for autoturrets! You can secure an auto turret from being destroyed by players shooting at it by placing 2 fences stacked on themselves in front of it like a double wall which will stop any player-shot bullets while allowing turret-bullets fly through it basically making it immortal unless someone wastes rockets on destroying the fences/walls.

Useful fact about auto turrets is they can shoot through two layers of chain-link fence but players can only soot through one so if you put your turret behind two fences its now indestructible even from incendiary rockets. So you could have done that for the road entrance and not have to worry about closing the garage door.
