I'm kind of surprised that cherry works as a neck wood, but I guess the walnut fingerboard would add some strength. Nice work!!

I love working with cherry, it works great for guitar necks. Even without the walnut fingerboard I wouldn't worry about stability. It's also incredibly smooth to the touch which is nice if you like playing fast.

Although I didn't really get the idea behind routing out such a huge chunk of this beautiful piece of wood for a pickup cavity, finished guitar came out FREAKING AWESOME! Kinda reminds me John Petrucci's Majesty

Weight. Although I could've saved more in that regard by using anything but aluminum as pickguard material I still lose a lot through routing a big pocket. Also comes in handy for custom pickup installations. Thanks, glad you like it!
