The cichlids are beautiful, but the colors will attract egrets and heron to the tanks and they will feast from the tanks if you don't get covers on them. Those birds will learn that there is less work to find a meal since the fish are in such a small, confined space.

Woke up this morning to my 5ft tank leaking. Found silicone on 1 corner was opening up. Had to empty the entire tank to re silicone it. I have fish, plants and water all over the place atm lol now just waiting for the silicone to cure .

A fantastic catch, Rob, and I was fascinated by those little catfish. Not a species I recognised. Why not put some plants in the tanks with your new catches? That should help them feel less stressed and there are loads of plants in the waterways you visit.

i love watching your videos, your lucky to be able to find all these aquarium type fishes in your neighborhood streams. its as if they were serious aquarist who grew old or passed on and someone just dump these fishes in public ponds/bodies of water. the fish you call sharks i used to buy them sold as "tuna catfish" i had one grow to 2ft. in length. keep up the good work.
