@@lulufortytwo3884this is me but I sometimes overdo it. I pulled a C6 Chiori for Noelle. Just needed C1 but kept going for some reason. This is after pulling for a C2 Furina for Noelle. Then I got a C4 Xilonen for Noelle as well. Now my Noelle team is complete for now so I’m gonna pull Citlali and a few cons for my melt Amber. I got her Lyney’s weapon too. Funny thing is that all of those pulls are probably still cheaper than a C6 amber from standard banner.

Kaeya is basically Cryo Xiangling, the cryonados are pretty neat for off field cryo application but you really need someone else to do the DPS because shortsword characters are usually low on damage per hit compared to polearm/claymore. that Barbara bloom on the other hand was chef's kiss

Kaeya actually still has the highest normal attack multipliers out of all sword characters, I use him as my main dps with mistsplitter and pair him with c6 bennett, his pyro infused attacks actually deal really good damage in addition to him melting with his burst 🙂‍↕️ I know some people also pair him with Chongyun in freeze teams for cryo infusion. Of course he needs a lot of investment but he can def be played as main dps in abyss

kaeya is my first main in genshin! i managed my pre-ar 45 game with him and xinqiu and only realized lately how broken freeze teams are when you're not building your charas with artifacts yet. and ngl, with all the stacking requirements of newer characters these days, it's so refreshing to come back for 1.X character with straight forward damage kits 😆 (i really hope ms. dish finds this video, she will def love this kaeya vid)

No joke, I got Kaeya twice from the standard banner too! Got his C3 from the shop already because I'm so STARVED for Cryo characters I might as well build him!j Fun fact: it's still way more economic if you're going for a particular 4-star character to get him/her from the stop rather than spend glitter on wishes. You only get 7 wishes for that amount of star glitter, which does not guarantee you ANY 4-star character and to get the one you DO want starts out at like 17% chance of success. So you're better off buying a constellation directly unless you're already into soft pity and NEED the 5-star and are okay with missing out on the 4-star. But if you NEED the 4-star, just buy it.

Hot take feel free to share your opinion. In my opinion the most and honestly only meta cryo character right now is Kaeya. Okay hear me out am not talking about some hyperfridge/freeze melt with rosaria etc Specifically am talking forward melt with arlecchino and only at c6. In team of arlecchino c6kaeya kazucha bennet. In this team you have all standard arlecchino supports but you swap out hydro option like furina yelan xingqiu (which are concidered her best teams) for Kaeya. Why Kaeya and why only at c6? That’s because arlecchino has standard icd and vapes/melts every 3th hit and c6kaeya is the only character in the game who can enable concistant cryo application, so the vape hits simply became melts instead.Melt has higher multiplayers of 2.0 instead of vape 1.5. And if you want to argue kaeya can’t possibly be good of field dps think about what makes xingling great, it’s her no icd so she can do her job with reactions and she snapshots. Guess what? In this team Kaeya is also adding support by enabling reactions and also snapshots. bennet and kazucha is there to buff arlecchino but kaeya as well. And his personal dmg is better then most would imagine on emblem set and with c6 which also buffs his dmg from c0 up to 88 % ,also kaeya burst is aoe not like xingqiu or yelan and his c2 can extend his uptime (depending on number of enemies it can be base duration or up to infinite uptime), while as well following your active character. And that’s not all! Arlecchino is very front loaded with her bond of life mechanic meaning the more dmg you deal at the start of rotation the better. Melt takes advantage of that alowing her to do more dmg quickly and alowes her to end rotation early giving her more bond of life for second rotation. Now obviously there are some disadvantages like in every team for example if you use kazucha burst you want to infuse cryo which is not hard but can be inconsistent due to for example getting hit with elemental dmg on kazucha or difficulty to swirl pyro on second wave after dealing with first without messing up cryo application, but other then that I believe what’s the most important factor of no one playing this team is just simply the % of people having c6kaeya or trying to get it in starglitter shop, maybe also the fact that hes a starter character. So in short he can support one of if not the best team in the game but nobody talks about it/knows about it. If anybody is interested I have perfect rotation for that team that I can share.

@@taiyuuji123 got you bro: Allrighty so my rotation is Kaeya skill ( to apply cryo) Kazuha skill (tap) and burst (to absorb cryo) Arlecchino skill Benny burst (to catch particles) and skill ( optional) Kazuha skill ( tap or hold depending on gruping you need/pyro swirl) Kaeya skill and burst ( try to do it close to enemy for better cryo app) Arlecchino charged atk (cancel with dash or jump/ I prefer jump) Arlecchino just normal atk or (4na dash or na3 dash to the right cause of kaeya burst application and repeat) until you got 4-5 seconds left till skill will refresh/ when you see 4-5seconds left swap back to Kaeya) Then redo it Kaeya skill kazuha skill burst arlecchino skill etc This rotation is not easy but also not super difficult the worst part is to swirl right element with kazuha burst what’s why we end rotation early so Kaeya burst is still active and with skill we can apply cryo for second rotation now if it fails just don’t swirl cryo and do everything the same but from arlecchino skill moment If you can’t infuse kazuha burst with cryo / or dps window is super short do this rotation arlecchino skill benny burst kazuha skill kaeya skill burst arlecchino charged canceled and normal atks (combo is the same) Things to note: this team doesn’t require a lot of energy I personally don’t run any fav weapons and it works the only character who might struggle is kazuha if you are building him with low er and all em I have 961 em and 178er and it works ( as I was saying without fav) This rotation is very front loaded and allows for quite a save of bond of life on arlecchino which means more dmg in second rotation. The most important thing is as I was saying canceling arlecchino charged atk cause then application will flop and Kaeya will be the one melting , you want that always cryo aura on enemy, not hitting that charged atk gurentees enough cryo to not get overwritten by pyro) I hope I didint miss anything. Kaeya’s never not been in my team. He was the one who caught my eye when watching one of those “20 Best Games Coming Out Next Year” type videos and then again after it came out. I’ve NEVER bought into the “those characters are a waste of time” narrative because if aim enjoying playing with them, it is, by default, not a waste of time. Some of my characters are great. Some are just okay, but I love them just the same. I haven’t had much time to play the last few months, but I think my current lineup is Xiao, Diluc, Wriothesley, and Kaeya, in descending order how they’re listed on screen. Diluc’s spot has rotated quite a lot and I switch that one out with Shinobu whenever I need her electro to pair with Kaeya’s ice crystals or a powerful healer, but it’s been occupied by Kaveh, Alhaitham, Cybo for a LONG time, Kazuha for a long time before Cyno, Gorou, and I think Razor was the first one. I don’t have Albedo, Childe, Kinich, Heizou, Itto, or Sethos, but they’ll all get their turn. Diluc will probably get the boot for Ororon since I logged in to get him, but haven’t had a chance to so much as even look at him yet. What’s the point if you’re not having fun?

I love to play frostfire Kaeya with c6 Bennett. With high investment, he does crazy damage AND I get to enjoy playing the character. The best thing about Genshin is that, though meta units will make your life easier, you can play and clear with ANYONE as long as you're willing to put in the work. I don't like Venti, Zhongli, Raiden, or Nahida, so I don't play them. Baizhu isn't meta? WHO GIVES A DAMN, MY KAVEH-NILOU BLOOM TEAM USES HIM AND CLEARS WITH 36*. Meta is ever-changing, but fun is forever.

Kaeya is my main since I started playing Genshin when I started because of the popular characters I see on videos lol. He is my main alongside Diluc, been running him alongside Diluc with Benette and Kazuha (Though sometimes, I just like to clear level 10 of the Abyss with just Kaeya and Diluc), he is in 212 Critical Damage and 72 Critical rate, I run him with Haran, maybe I am replacing it with Mistplitter so I am also waiting for Ayaka's rerun for the weapon. I just got his C3 in the shop. And it's so hard for me getting him to c6, but my friends got him in higher constellations and they don't even build him, my man just like evading those who wants him 🤣

you should try c6 bennett with kaeya on crimson witch it can do good damage because the set gives pyro damage bonus and extra melt damage, so his basics dealing pyro applying pyro and allowing for his skills to melt and his basics melting which does a lot of damage :)

this felt like a common cookie-cutter build that is identical to the way the EVERY OTHER genshin player might build him... can I offer a suggestion that will spice things up? 4 piece Crimson Witch of Flames on kaeya, and give him the led pipe for his weapon. all you need then is C6 bennet. (who I also gave a weird build to: Peak Patrol Song for the weapon, and then 4000 Def (for artifacts, 2-piece Defender's Will/ 2-piece Husk of Opulent Dreams - because they give Def +30%) The way it works is simple, bennet drops his aura and slaps the foe 2 times with a normal attack to proc a 51% damage bonus (plus whatever damage bonus you ALSO get from the aura itself) then kaeya alternates between normal attack and his skill. Crimson Witch of Flames on kaeya gives 15% pyro damage bonus to his normal attack, followed by his skill which causes melt (at +15% melt damage from that artifact set)... but then every time he uses his skill, the bonus pyro damage on his normal attack goes up by 50% (max 165% bonus pyro damage), kaeya's skill cools down FAST already, so you typically get 2 normal attacks between every use of the skill, and literally melt through opponents HP (pun intended) - but you can proc melts even faster if you have your burst up too. give these 2 builds a try sometime if you grow tired of typical genshin builds

I don't think it's wrong or stupid to invest in and crown your favorites. You play them anyway, so any upgrade is still an upgrade. I personally am going to C2 my Albedo and get Klee and C2 her too, because they're my favorites and the game isn't fun without them. Also, having a couple cons for the older characters to get them up to speed a bit is not that bad of an idea. New characters are fine at C0 anyway.

I have her on flowers of paradise lost full EM with sacrificial. If you don’t have Nahida you can also just run Collei/DMC that’s what I used to run before I got Nahida. If you do have Nahida though you could run Sucrose or Heizou for grouping instead of a 2nd dendro character

Thanks so much! Also if you're building Yanfei next, I reccomend going for a vap or melt with wander's troupe em/pyro dmg/crit. Ballad of the boundless blue can be a great weapon for her if you can get enough crit stats from artifacts/supports. I use her charged attacks as her main source of dmg, but you could play around with using the skill and burst as they have pretty good scalings

@revelationgenesis3045 oh I use Marchusse set for freeze since I have furina, Lavawalker for off-field Melt (you can use harbinger of dawn here if you want) and 2 piece blizzard 2 piece Glad for fridge along with dendro traveller as for weapons I pulled for Mistsplitter reforged so that's what I used but as alternative you can use the recent event weapon Calamity of Eshu, btw Merry Christmas~!

I have been playing the game since 1.0 so I already have a lot of artifacts luckily. Since I have started making these videos I haven't farmed a single artifact though because I can't afford to. I use all of my resin on talent books, mora (Edit I forgot Boss materials too) and EXP books during the week leading up to the recording. I had a lot of quests that I hadn't done yet and I had like 900 dendro sigils that I never gave to the tree of dreams so I got a lot of rewards from those. I also started using the battle pass so that I could get Kaeya an R5 wolf fang which also gives more resources. So definitely not a normal scenario.

GT only has a two second buff when you're coming off field- it is a viable set on him if you wanna use him mainly off field. I prefer using him onfield myself From one Kaeya main to another- strongest teams for Kaeya: Benny-Xiangling-Kaeya- and a support such as Kazuha/Sucrose/Xilonen/Shenhe- I run Benny, Emilie, Kaeya and Shenhe myself now with Kaeya and Emilie on the burning set from Fontaine. (I was also really tired of Xiangling) Kaeya's personal damage is really helped with a crit sword- r5 harbinger of dawn is his bis free to play option (if you go with this option, I'd recommend stacking some extra attack and EM on your Kaeya) but if you happen to have a 5 star sword such as Alhaitham's weapon, mistplitter, or even Skyward pride (it synergizes well with emblem and provides a very small amlunt of crit) or a nice 4 star like one of the battlepass weapons Build your Benny with your second best sword (mine has a skyward pride I got off of basic a couple of years ago), max level him and crown his burst. His buff scales off of his base attack so that's the attack he has with just himself and his weapon- no artifacts. Get him up to c6 if he's not already for the pyro infusion if you aren't using Xiangling as he will need the extra pyro application. Benny's c6 will also enable you to get all three stacks of mistsplitter Actually, you should crown anything part of your supports that give Kaeya a damage boost. I cracked 220k against scara and that is without the meme build shown against him in this video (I also have C3 full disclosure) And whatever set you use, be prepared to be in that domain for a long time unless you have insane artifact luck (2pc BS and 2pc noblesse, or 2pc BS and 2pc attack are also good alternatives) Hopefully this helps! :)

I get annoyed with people hating on Xiangling, while I'm simultaneously building every new pyro I get, hoping for the best. I watch videos other people's Xiangling, and I notice we all get the same 30k - 40k vape damage. She cooks, she cleans (up all the enemies), and she's getting a new outfit. She is the perfect traveler! I'm praying Mavuika is -better- I mean worse 😅
