This is so inspiring, I’m a retired senior, I live alone, love to craft. A tiny home would be perfect. How ever in my area, I’ve never heard of any being around. Enjoy every momment, you definitely earned it

Yes, that is a good job. She’s a wonderful person too rent her home out to somebody else and not be so greedy like some of them are in the town where I live. The rent is really gone up a lot. I hope she’s able to help a nice family love from South Dakota❤

Me too. But the renters aren't winning really. They're flushing money down the toilet in rent.

BEAUTIFUL AND COMFORTABLE! BUT WAY TOO EXPENSIVE FOR A "TINY HOME". 🌺☮️💟🌺

The house seems pricey, but I really like the layout of the house, and Christy seems so genuinely kind and thoughtful. Good luck for your future.

To my way of thinking that is just an insane amount of money to pay for utility hookups. Spending over $200,000 for a cute house that is so small that it doesn't have a living room just doesn't equate in my mind. At the end of the day my opinion doesn't matter as much as the fact that she is happy with her decision.

Those stairs to the loft are going to wind up on a “death stairs” Facebook group.

Probably a 30 year mortgage with an excellent rate, so what’s the hurry?

I don’t get all the hoopla over “tiny homes”, when mo lie homes,or “trailers” have b even around forever, and much cheaper than tiny homes.

Ridiculous pricing.

Yes but her house wouldn’t sell for 600k . The homes in that price range were much bigger and newer.

You kind of have to decide what to give up unless you go with a longer model and smaller bathroom. Putting the bedroom on the second floor is more appealing and space-saving, especially if you create it as a walk-up loft where you can actually stand beside and walk around the platform bed. It requires some ingenuity on the main floor, but it's doable - and has been successfully done. Of course a lot of people moving into tiny homes are older folks living alone and so there's the concern about mobility in the future. The main thing is that whatever you have works for you!

So, you bought a house in 2001 for almost $150K (cheap really), you're a CPA, and you're still paying mortgage for the house 23 years later? It doesn't sound right. Be honest.
