You don't have to go any higher than 70,000 m high, after that you're in space. After that wait until you're at your apoapsis (height of your arc) and point prograde (forward). Then burn until your moving at about 2300 m/s and boom! You're in an easy orbit. That rocket had a ton of fuel and if you do it properly you can get to the mün. But for that you need to know about maneuver nodes and transfer windows. Hope this helps, love the ksp videos!

I got four pieces of advice, one, the little boosters you were talking about are the sepratrons, they run on solid fuel so when you run out of liquid fuel, you can still fire them. Second, if you scroll up, there are larger fuel tanks that you could have used for the middle part so that the orange tanks could be smaller than the middle like in the game. Third, when you are trying to get to orbit, there are two things you need to know, the altitude where space starts is at 70 Km, and that when you are burning to bring your periapsis (lowest part of your orbit) up, burning at apoapsis (the highest part of your orbit) is the most efficient. Forth, USE THE MANOVER NODE MAKER, that's all.

Dear Blitz: A lot of people don't know this, but for a rocket to get into a proper orbit you need to turn sideways. And also, you shouldn't follow the purple triangles, they just make your rocket spin in circles,instead, try to slowly turn the rocket toward A SINGLE DIRECTION ONLY (if you are having trouble doing this and your rocket flips,try adding wings to it) and by the time you are in space, your rocket should be parallel to the ground or in other words, your navball should show both the orange and blue sides, equally. Hope this helps :). (unless of course you don't look at this comment because it have no likes so please like so blitz can see this)

You need to add some struts. Also, don't ever forget to hit the «T» key to turn on the SAS. You have reached escape velocity, and it's showing you your orbit around the Sun as that yellow line. Start your gravity turn when at about 60m/s going EAST, then set the SAS to prograde. When at about 50Km altitude, set yourself aimed horizontally and continue burning a bit until your apogee is around 100km. Engines OFF. Wait to the apogee and circularize your orbit. Make sure that your perigee is OVER 70Km.

Nice job making it to orbit! Just some tips for some flights in the future: 1. Prograde is just the direction you are currently moving, so boosting prograde will just make you go into a lopsided orbit like that one, or orbit the sun 2. When you begin to exit the atmosphere, start gradually turning. This will allow you to make a lower, more circular orbit. 3. On the lower circle thingy called the nav hall, all of the directions are constantly changing relative to you. The purple ones are 90 degrees to your left and right, and the blue ones are 90 degrees up and down. Safe flying! Love ur vids

ps pro tip, if your orbit is like to far above the planet just cut the throttle and wait until the apoapsis (ap thinghy on the map) and go prograde to enlarge the orbit oh and u could do some fuel pipes from the external fuel tanks to the main vessel, that will live you a full main vessel ( i think it is called onion separation ) or just get a more efficient engine on the main vessel and start it in space, oh and buddy your first orbit was around kerbol (the sun); love ur videos especially the kerbal ones, keep it up!

While you may not be good at KSP now, in a few hours after watching a quick tutorial you can get into orbit around Kerbin, a few days and you'll be sending Kerbals to the Mun and Minmus, a few weeks and you will be building space stations and sending Kerbals to places like Duna and Gilly, a few months and you can build a rocket to get anywhere in the Kerbol system, and then in a few years you will be calculating the perfect mission with an Eve SSTO with the minimum amount of Δv possible.

If i remember right i have tips: you dont have to get thrusters on always and closer to apogeum less thrust is needed and you at some point fought SAS cause you was turning to horisontal and SAS was turning to vertical and you have more control with stabilisers(fins) and my deduction was that boosters had messed up center of mass so they tilted

Blitz, to get into orbit, you need to turn to face 45 deg east by 10 kilometres. Then, you need to activate your engines for a while at apoapsis to complete your orbit insertion.

You can do some extreme editing look at the four buttons on top, you can clip parts in and rotate them (also the 'M' key is a shortcut to toggle the map, near the picture of the kerbals in the bottom left you can eva though you may need to upgrade the astronaut complex)

you shod release the SRB's/boosters before it runs out of fuel to avoid the boosters from colliding with the rocket body. you shod also tilt the rocket a little and stop the engines then turn them on Again. slowdown to lower orbit if not in orbit and stil in a parabolic orbit speed up to go higher but sideways. you go sideways because the earth is round and it's easier. also if the rocket is to heavy you need more fuel but to cary that fuel you need more SR boosters but it gets heavy so you need more fuel but to cary that fuel you need more SR boosters but it gets heavy so you need more fuel but to cary that fuel you need more SR boosters but it gets... so don't make your rocket to heavy.

To get a good orbit, you want to star rotating slowly at 10,000. Then by the time you exit the atmosphere, you should be around 80°. Then, if your max height is a good enough distance from the planet, then kill throttle, and wait until you get to your max height, then burn until you get a good circle around the planet. Good luck! Actually wasn't cringing much more just intense wow he's going to do it then .... Ohhh he missed it. Like the baseball clip, where the crowd gets more and more hype then ohhh XD Overall it was an enjoyable episode, you did much better than my first few times anyway. Oh a note, about the last mission. When you have an uneven orbit like that, you need to wait till you get to the widest part to enlarge the other side of the orbit. Otherwise you tend to waste a lot more fuel. The staging tutorial would be helpful as well, you remembered the sas and seem to remember the other things. You also ironically choose efficient engines. You burn retrograde or reverse or towardsthe direction you came from to slow down and make an orbit smaller.
