I'm so happy that you went through with this build, the end result is awesome despite all of your early uncertainties ! I really like the "one-piece" inlays, I've never seen those before. Regular dot inlays are pretty boring, and these have their own look. Tartan on a guitar could easily be too over the top, but this guitar is actually very classy.

I've been rooting for you since I knew you were invited to the competition. And this guitar turned out magnificent! I'd love to bid for it but sadly won't be able to due to some rough economic situation here. What I will do instead is at least support the charity you have chosen, cause they do deserve it and it's great to have you raise more awareness for them. While I am far from being Scottish, this guitar makes me feel proud of what can be achieved with a lot of dedication and even a little bit of space. I really enjoyed the explanation of the uniform and how it tied into the guitar especially how you named the pickups and made the concept relate. Very clever!
