I think its quite refreshing to go back to basics. There is now mods for cryopods and teleporters but this is how we come into the ark world so I'm sticking to how its meant to be for a while 😊

Suggestion on the double doors for your base. Flip the 2nd gate so that way both doors open inside that little hallway. Not telling you to do it but it would be very impressive. And if possible, have a Keypad outside pin the doors so they can open at the same time that would improve the feel of them when getting people, a tour. The first presentation of the home goes a long way.

In multiplayer, a good taming strategy to avoid the target torpor running away from you: You can pick it up with your bird mount (argy, wyvern, quetzal, rhyniognatha, etc.) And hold it in place while your tribe mate is on the ground shooting it. Just pump up your bird's hp and it can even tank your target's attacks while holding it in place if it is still aggressive.

yeah for some reason during this vid we were unable to pick up the bary or sarco, even an anky. and we were told that was no longer a thing in ASA. then one of the next episodes we were able to pick up an anky, so idk if it was a bug, or patched.

Love the build 💯. I tend to build huge and on or over absolutely anything. I don't build as "pretty" because I try to absolutely maximize space. Like.. literally enough space for 100 gigas or more lol. But I'd love to start building outposts for the "pretty" builds like this build. I love it, i subscribed. Mutated bred baryonyx is one of my favs to use. Specially with scuba gear on.

those are vanilla Ark pieces now in ASA. they are the smaller ceilings that can turn into triangles

Does Quetzel buss still work in ASA. I remember back in the day on the PVE servers we would tame a Qwtezel put a platform saddle on it and fly our beasties to new base locations and boss platforms. Amazing build by the way. Really like it.

Glad you enjoy! I will be 100% honest, the game is buggy atm. but its diff for each person. My fiance never has issues with crashing or anything, but i do. i gotta restart a lot and get crashes and it can be annoying. but all the bugs aside, the game is absolutely breathtaking and a completely new experience. it changed ark and how its played just with visuals alone. so if you can overlook a few bugs then get it. they are updating a lot anyways and fixing a lot of things.

no reall way to disable that directly, you could use backspace but that turns all hud off, also end may work

Ah ok thank you … im on ps5 but i think its in the option wheel like third and first person. Its a little pitty that ark dont steal by conan … the best gameplay for a building game like ark on a console … much better than pc :) especially the inventory … easier to handle than with a mouse. By ark there too many clicks an drag n drop actions like on pc versions … conan has here the best solution for a console gameplay. But the beasts are great in ark :) only the building gameplay is way easier to handle in conan than in ark. Maybe they will learn about handling in a few years :)

I've never understood why people build these giant bases with so much wasted space inside them. Like you could probably build everything you've got in there, comfortably, in a structure half it's size. It's just so...inefficient. Imagine the absolutely nightmare of living in that thing. Wake up in the morning and want to walk from your bedroom to the kitchen to make breakfast...distance of a football field. If you'd built a bathroom, it'd be a ten minute walk from anywhere else in the house. Hope you crafted a mop.

the size is simple, asthetics for every day gaming life + fitting larger dinos inside. with the size we can fly the quets or argys straight up to any of the storage and dtop everything off, or just simply for fun :P
