The struts are purposely submerged in oil to help with keeping the strut cool. Awesome build!

Someone else mentioned that as well and It's strange because the KYB instructions say not to add oil

We're working our way up slowly. Behind the scenes, David picked up two separate cars that we have yet to show on the channel, so there definitely will be new content and new projects. Thanks a lot for the support.

So sick, looks like its almost ready for a stage! I want to do the same with mine, that was a great call with the springs.

The new springs / shocks actually make the car ride relatively nicely. The front is a little high compared to the rear and gives about +1.5° positive camber. I saw that silver mine motors offers a bolt in camber plate that is also a lower height than the original rubber spring mount, so maybe that could be used to address both the height and camber correction. Just been enjoying it as is for now so I haven't tried it out yet.

@@Dan_And_Daves_GarageI would look up what the forums have to say about the silver mine motors plate, there are issues with the stock top hat and interference with the strut towers with stock dia springs. Not speaking from experience though just what I read.

Maybe I'll see if they can send a set out for a video and we'll have a concrete answer
