Funny , Toyota stopped building the ultimate V8 defender 2 years ago , its called the 200 series , because it does not break , it goes everywhere and even brand new you dont care if you pinstripe it .

But van comercial vehicles have to have dividing screen (factory installed) to prevent cargo from smashing in front row in case of crash. So every year you have to install that screen to register your vehicle, and if the cops stop you, they could seize your vehicle, because in EU this is considered illegal mod.

I was very lucky I got to drive nearly all the difference type of land rover upto the 110 and 90 defender. The 110 was my sign out vehicles Every day Had so many fun times The only thing wrong with my 110 defender in 1986 was no turbo Slow as a snail going up hill. My series 3 was faster After installing a petrol engine.

I reckon there are plenty. Aside from how tacky it looks, what purpose does it serve other than as a status symbol?? Performance?? There are better out there, not just in terms of pure power, but also handling. Audi RSQ8 for example. Luxury, nothing about the bright red tacky look of that cabin said luxury to me. If I want luxury I'm buying a straight up Range Rover. As I say in another comment, I am not the target market for those cars, but to say that there is not a man alive who wouldn't want one??? Beyond ridiculous because they are appealing to a very specific, very shallow and superficial, client.

Honestly, instead of buying an EV for tax evasion, I'd buy this car if I was looking for a car at this price range. The interior quality is spectacle. It's an amazing value for what you get. You probably can't get a post-2018 SVR for the same money with the taxes and that's insane for a brand new V8.
